Hello Real Housewives of New Jersey Fans!
I have start this blog off with some upfront information. I have never been a fan of Teresa Giudice. Actually, Teresa blocked me on Twitter very early on. Another confession, I have missed parts of episodes this season AND I was unable to force myself to watch the TWO REUNION shows. YUCK!! I have tried desperately to watch Part 1 and I have caught certain scenes here and there but I did not watch it in it's entirety. I found Andy Cohen to be pathetic and a hypocrite (a blog about that later). In addition, as much as I don't care for Teresa I can't stand a gang up. Someone tweeted that Teresa deserved it because she created Season 3 and all it's drama. I beg to differ. BRAVO created it and it all started at the end of SEASON 2. Teresa should not have thrown Andy!! No sireeee. Andy Cohen viciously took Teresa Giudice down. I hope Andy can sleep well at night because in the process he has messed with family and it will have repercussions for children. I am not sure I could do that in my attempt for revenge?
Now, if you all hang with me through this rambling blog post let us see if we can figure out what the hell is going on in NEW JERSEY. In my opinion, it is one BIG FAT MESS? And I think they all suck! I guess I should have sad that nicer, I mean they all are in this sad mess together and they ALL BRING the GOOD and the BAD to the TABLE,so to speak. Hear me out on this.
Let us start with the FAMILY part of the NEW JERSEY MESS. Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile! For this blog let us leave Teresa Giudice's money problems aside. At the end of Season 2 Danielle Staub brought up Teresa's brother/family and that is what sent Teresa into a fury. Andy got tossed like a rag doll and things went downhill for Teresa Giudice. What the fans seem to be letting go of is "how in the world did Danielle Staub know details about Teresa and her brother?" Now, c'mon think about it? Did your lightbulb go off?? If I had money to bet, I would bet a shitload on the connection being the GREEN EYED JEALOUS LADY (wearing red) Melissa Gorga. Listen, Melissa Gorga was dying to sing and Teresa Giudice was gonna be her way into the music industry by route of Bravo but BIG PROBLEM,the two didn't get along and no flipping way was Teresa going to introduce Melissa to Bravo. Now Melissa Gorga has a Lightbulb moment! Danielle Staub is her way in! Danielle was out! Danielle hates Teresa! Melissa decides to supply Danielle with information and Danielle uses it beautifully!! (Gotta give Danielle Staub credit for knowing how to exit but then again Danielle was pretty good in her scenes,anyway) Melissa then brought Bravo gold because she gave them Kathy too!!! Now, I think Teresa threw a shit fit and gave all kinds of ultimatums and probably threatened to WALK and she was probably making threats about filming with Melissa and Kathy (remember this is all conjecture, my little head spinning ideas). So, when Bravo reigned in Teresa they had only one thing left to do, bury her ass! Now, it wasn't hard because the fans were turning on Teresa because of her financial mess but Teresa could have rode that out but with the family problems Bravo knew they could sink her.
Not to mention Melissa and Kathy had it easy. Life is good for the two of them and they got to play up that Teresa is their only problem and if Teresa was only different they would gladly stand behind her. Melissa and Kathy played up their financial well being and they felt bad for Teresa BUT she did need to learn how to manage her money and both women insinuated Teresa's husband was the slacker, not Teresa. Oh, Melissa and Kathy played it very good!! It is all Teresa (she is jealous, spoils her kids, spends money irresponsibly and has a no-good husband) and Melissa and Kathy are just so sweet and loving. Yeah, so flipping sweet they went on Television and crucified their sister in law and cousin, respectively. Goodness, I am thankful my family members are not that sweet and loving LOL!
Do I honestly think that Melissa and Kathy are horrible? No, but I don't think they are wide eye innocent. Who joins a television show KNOWING family issues will be exploited? I don't know, maybe you guys can answer that question! But, Both women discussed over and over the 'Teresa problem' and they knew exactly what they were doing. These two women would never have been on the show without their problems with Teresa. We know it! They know it! Therefore, as a fan, ask yourself how does that translates into being FAMILY CENTERED??? Melissa and Kathy's need to be on television was more important than FAMILY. No if and or buts about it!! Oh, and I think it was Kathy's sister that told fans to stop tweeting mean things about them that you should save it for your own family. Here is something I would like to say to Kathy and her sister, "Don't go on a fing television show and exploit your family and then bitch about people judging you. Really, what the hell did you expect?"
Here is a general statement, "Really these REALITY CELEBRITIES need to stop the FING whining about bloggers and fans. If you don't want to be in the spotlight then don't go on a reality show, dumbasses!!!"
Back to the Jersey Mess! Or Andy Cohen gets REVENGE!!
Now, how does Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita play into this GOD AWFUL mess. For this post I am only looking at the relationship with Teresa Giudice and them. Have you ever had issues with your in-laws? Or family members? Or friends/co-workers? Now, have you ever told your close friends about these people? For example, my best friend, I chat with her all the time about my family issues. SHE HEARS ONLY MY SIDE. SHE HEARS MY SIDE WHEN I AM MOST PISSED OFF. The nice thing about it is she is rarely around the people I am VENTING ABOUT but I know when she sees them that she is going to think they are pretty decent people. Why? Because those people are not HATEFUL monsters and they are polite and mannerly towards her. See, we all have different types of relationships with people. So, even though Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile might be fun loving to others it is very possible they are not that way with Teresa. We don't know the full history, and it could be all Teresa's fault but it could be Melissa's and Kathy's? Ultimately, Caroline and Jacqueline only heard Teresa's side and Teresa expected them to act like loyal friends. My best friend is polite but she does stand by me. Of course, she doesn't hate my family members but she doesn't become best buddies with them, she is my friend.
Unfortunately it got very complicated due to filming and BRAVO created a mess. A VERY MEAN MESS. Teresa had every right to feel she lost friends. Caroline and Jacqueline were stuck in the middle. Melissa and Kathy were out to prove they were not horrible and I am sure they are not horrible TO CAROLINE AND JACQUELINE but Caroline and Jacqueline are not family with a long history. There is no reason for Melissa and Kathy to be passive aggressive with Caroline and Jacqueline (well, right now). Now, Should Teresa understand Caroline and Jacqueline's situation? Yes! But, in the thick of things do we think things out that clearly? HELL NO!! Especially when it comes to long family history relationships? All Teresa knew saw was HER FRIENDS TURNING ON HER. I don't care who you are that always sucks!
In the end this viewer didn't like the Zoo!!
In other words, I stopped watching because New Jersey is a mess with many issues. We haven't even touched on Ashley, the Manzo brats and so much more!! For me, I don't think you mess with family and friend loyalties. I am sure each woman individually has decent qualities but the New Jersey Mix is a huge mess. I think it is sad that Jacqueline Laurita chose to hide in her house but she blasted Teresa Giudice on Twitter, sorry but that is BEYOND IMMATURE, it is just WRONG!! Caroline is claiming she was never a friend of Teresa Giudice. WHAT??? I guess Caroline has been lying to us, the viewers for a while now! I think it is sad that two women went on a show at the expense of family. Listen, I have had serious issues with my in-laws and I can honestly tell you there is no amount of money that would entice me to embarrass my in-laws, and children in that manner. Melissa Gorga forgets that someday her children will be able to see these shows and they will know her part in the family tragedy. Kathy is just a cousin and I guess family doesn't mean that much. I have cousins, cousins I don't like all that much but I would never hurt them in the manner Kathy chose for fame, NEVER.
My heart hurts because Americans think it is entertaining. These are families and kids are going to pay the price. I stopped watching and I hope and pray more Americans stop because RATINGS are the only thing that matter to executives. I know executives lack a conscience and I understand how the world works so I am counting on the hearts and souls of my fellow Americans to start turning some of these God Awful shows back around! We need to go back to the fun!
Oh, and another note about the New Jersey Situation, Danielle Staub left her imprint and her name kept popping up!
I would say Danielle flipped the proverbial table and it took place on Sunday,now that is pretty spooky LOL!
In the meantime,I am enjoying Movies and Scripted Television once again!!! Oh, there is some Reality Television (back to HGTV) and I still pop in on the Housewives (re-runs only and I no longer DVR the shows) but I miss the nicer days!
