Oh, how the tides change! Poor Teresa Giudice (figuratively and literally lol). At one time she was liked for being flashy and shiny and THAT JERSEY GIRL and now, well, she is being nailed to the wall, for, well, being herself.
Anyway, I enjoy the housewives when their personalties shine through even when they do their best not to let it THAT happen.
So let us chat a bit about Teresa Giudice and her now, notorious bathing suit scene.
I enjoyed it! It was soooo Teresa. In addition, I liked the bathing suits. I have fun watching what the housewives wear. I like looking at their homes and their styles. And Teresa Giudice and her Sister in law Melissa Gorga are such Jersey Girls. They love the big hair and all that glitters, go Jersey Girls!!
Even Greg Bennett says, Melissa will top Teresa and I am not sure if that is a compliment although I do believe Greg means it as a compliment, right?? I think in Jersey that is what you call a compliment? In my neck of the woods we would consider it a slam, it is all in where you live!
Caroline's true colors come out during the scene. What she used to find 'cute' and 'endearing' about Teresa has now become annoying. Jacqueline is completely over Teresa too. As Jacqueline ages she is losing her self image confidence. Poor Lauren, she has never had that 'Jersey girl' confidence that Teresa and Melissa possess. Lauren blamed her frustration with Teresa's bathing suit fashion show on her 'womanly' time of month. Oh, Lauren, sweetie, your frustration runs much deeper than monthly moodiness but hey, I wouldn't want to hang with those two gorgeous women either and especially the way they love to strut their stuff.
On the other hand, As a viewer, I totally enjoy their over the top fashion senses!!
Anyway, I know everyone was in an uproar over the scene. I am not sure why?? I think because the husbands were present for the so-called fashion show but I think it was one of the more GENUINE scenes of the season. Why? It is so Teresa to try on all her outfits, strut her stuff and claim to ask for opinions on what to wear on the boat. Joe said it as he walked away, "She could do this all day." I think he meant it and I think they all knew it.
I ask you, don't you have a friend who loves to try on clothes and say, "Do you think this looks good, should I wear it or should I wear this?" I think that is sooooo Teresa. I don't think she cared if the men were present and she loved the cameras rolling. That is TERESA GIUDICE!!! And, for once we got REAL reactions and I enjoyed the scene. I could easily see that going down on a vacation. Sorry, but families and friends, eye roll each other and make snide remarks all the time about each other. It Doesn't mean we hate each other, just means at the moment we are slightly frustrated with our friend or family member. You know, the frustrations of traveling together or spending too much 'quality time' together lol. I relate to that a bit more than 'toasting' each other all the time (really who does that?), fighting, and over the top parties!
So what bathing suit did you like? I wouldn't wear any of them but I did like the beautiful blue/aqua bathing suit. I thought Teresa looked gorgeous in it and she should have worn that suit.
