Hello Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Fans!
I guess Bravo decided to add two new women to the cast! I think they felt it was needed because the original cast has hunkered down and they are unwilling to play the game. Well, they will only play the game to a certain extent! Good for them!! The original cast members play it pretty close to the vest with the drama, they give teasers. Again, GOOD FOR THEM!! I like a little drama and they give just enough! Although, I think I miss Camille Grammer being herself. There is a difference between not being dramatic and NOT BEING yourself. Camille seems to be playing it very close to the vest this season and I miss a little of the old Camille. I may have bitched about her but I like a person who says it like they see it. Which leads us right to Brandi! Brandi Glanville is going to be the outspoken, get into trouble housewife this season!! I am kind of liking Miss Brandi Glanville! I may not always agree with what a person says but I like a a person who is willing to say what they mean and hold their ground! As opposed to Poor Dana Wilkey. That young lady is trying to hard!!
Anyway, onto the episode!! Bravo set it up perfectly!! GAME NIGHT! No ADRIENNE MALOOF and THE TEAM, KYLE RICHARDS, KIM RICHARDS and BRANDI GLANVILLE!!! Let the fun begin!!
The ultimate question: Do we ever really change from our High School ways?
Listen, it is funny how we are 'preaching' to our children to stop being mean and if we see mean behavior step in and yet we don't do it as adults??
Yeah, we don't practice what we preach, do we??
Listen, Kyle Richards clearly can't stand Brandi Glanville and that is fine. In life we all don't have to get along but we should be civil. Kyle and her sister, Kim Richards, was far from Civil at the 'game night' which took place in Dana's home. Kyle and Kim became 'mean girls' and the other women were 'watchers'. I loved how Brandi commented that Dana was up 'Kim and Kyle's ass'. C'mon, Dana was up all of the women's asses. She is trying so hard to fit in.
In the end, Brandi did what we tell our children to do, she held her own. Now, I am not calling Kyle and Kim bullies. That demeans what children go through. Brandi is an adult and she has the skills to hold her own and she could remove herself from the situation unlike a child. Now, that being said, we do tell our children "not to be mean" AND, we tell our children, "If someone is being picked on then help them."
It is funny how we expect our children to do things we won't do?
Camille, Taylor and Dana knew damn well that Kyle and Kim were targeting Brandi and none of them stepped in to diffuse the situation or even help Brandi feel a little more welcome. I mean, Dana the hostess, should have been pissed that Kim kept calling her Pam, C'mon??? At best, she should have made Brandi feel more comfortable, right?
In the end, Brandi Glanville held her own and good for her!!! Kyle and Kim were definitely the 'mean girls' and the other three were the 'I don't want to get involved' ladies. Not the best examples for our children.
Sorry to say but I don't believe we leave High School behind? Do you? Oh, and I am not going to even guess if Kim Richards was hammered, what do you think?
