Hello Flipping Out Fans!
Anyone else get the feeling that Jeff Lewis is preparing for the future? Oh, and I mean beyond Bravo?
Jeff seems to be letting go of the dead weight and the people ont the team that were there for the cameras!
Not sure who determined Jeff's staff needed to be trimmed or restructured but I love Zoila calling Gage the 'Quiet Enemy'. Unfortunately, managers are typically the scapegoat.
But a GOOD manager protects the company. They need to be the perfect MIDDLE! They need to be the Boss's right hand person and yet they also need to voice concerns for the staff! Such a delicate balance.
Of course in Jeff Lewis's office things are messy. All kinds of professional lines are blurred! His Manager is his partner. Believe it or not I feel for Gage, I was my husband's manager and it is not always a fun position! Oh, and the staff always feels like you are against them to a certain extent!
But, Gage needs to learn to take criticism. Gage loves to throw the staff under the bus, which was nothing I use to enjoy. Oh, and I knew my place. My husband owned the company and I worked for him. In the office, Gage needs to take Jeff's instruction and work harder to be a better MIDDLE. I wouldn't want to be called 'the quiet enemy'.
Lastly, they need an F/R person or in accounting terms, Financial Reporting system. It sounds like Jeff Lewis's company has become larger, with more detailed expenses and that means every expense must be recorded properly or the banks will not do business with them. I did the F/R for my husband's company. As an accounting firm we are hired by many companies to do F/R for them but I am sure Jeff Lewis's company is still small enough to do it 'in house.' I agree with Jeff, Gage needs to learn to delegate and have Jett attempt to set up an F/R program!
Anyone else think Gage is a little whiny? Oh, and Zoila is right? Or do you think Gage is just looking out for Jeff and his company?
