We Don't Know Why Russell Armstrong Chose to stop Celebrating!

posted by RF Club, Group AdministratorWednesday, August 17th 2011 @ 9:33 PM (not yet rated)

Real Housewives Fans,

I won't pretend I like Taylor Armstrong.  You can read all my blog posts from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills first season and you will quickly surmize I can't stand Taylor.  Matter of fact, Taylor blocked me quick.  That being said, the passing of her husband, Russell Armstrong is sad.  Why?  Because he chose suicide.  In my personal opinion, I always feel for a person when they choose to end their life and unfortunatley their loved ones must deal with the aftermath.  Taylor, might be a bitch.  Taylor might have married him for business reasons BUT at some point the two had a relationship.  In addition, they have a child together and Taylor must deal with her own grief and her daughter's grief.

Now, as far as REALITY TELEVISION.  Many have been writing about the fact that Bravo should pull the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills??  I must admit I go back and forth with that idea.  Why?  Well, both Taylor and Russell signed on for Reality Television.  It is funny, how I have read that people don't want to watch now that they know the ending.  Yet, many will watch shows such as 'Celebrity Re-hab' or 'Intervention' or 'Scared Straight'.  There are some brutal Reality shows on television.  My ultimate point, a REALITY SHOW is REALITY.  They are not scripted.  Therefore, there should be unfortunate, sad, horrible things.  WHY???  THAT is REALITY.  Or in other words, LIFE!   I guess, the question is, do we just want to watch REALITY FLUFF?  Shopping, massages, lunches, weddings and so on.  Or do we really want to watch their lives?  The ups and downs?  Like I said, I go back and forth?

As far as what sent poor Russell Armstrong over the edge, well, that is all speculation and unless he left a note or told a trusted friend, I think it will remain speculation.  I do think it is unfair to blame Bravo.  They do not put a gun to their reality participants heads to sign the contracts.  Jim Bellino, of Orange County put his foot down. Overall, it is sad that Russell Armstrong felt hopeless.

Lastly, many have pointed to divorces that have happened to the Housewives since joining.  Listen, if your marriage can't withstand the pressure of a Reality Show then at some point your marriage was gonna fail.  A good marriage makes it through the good, the bad and the ugly.  People need to take responsibilty for their actions and not blame outside factors.

Go to Bravotv to watch Clip, for some reason it won't take!
