Did you have trouble enjoying Christmas in July? My poor husband was stuck in the room with me while I watched and he kept saying, "Is this a repeat?" I gently explained how taping is done with the Housewives, TWICE which goes to show you how well he listens, and he seems to have more trouble when I am talking Real Housewives gibberish. It is kind of like Caroline and Chris Manzo chatter to him!
So in this episode we get to see Teresa, Melissa and Kathy decorate their homes! Teresa claims she is cutting back??? If that tree and those ornaments is cutting back, well, then Teresa and I have different versions of living on a budget LOL. Melissa and Kathy knew they were filming and they went all out!!! I don't blame them but then again I do! That is the problem with The Real Housewives anymore. They are no longer REAL. Kathy's husband Rich, made it clear that the tree topper was NEW and something they would never typically have on the top of their tree!! It was so ugly!! Oh, and I love how Rich hired people to put up outside lights. Rich is going on and on how he has to step up to the plate because Kathy does everything so he HIRES people to decorate outside, I LOVED IT. Even better was the owner saying, "We charge more when the homeowner helps." Now, that was great!!! My husband bitches every year about doing lights but he won't PAY someone to put up lights. He says he rather spend his hard earned money on other shit! Yes, my husband knows we tend to blow our money at times but he says that is one thing he won't BLOW it on LOL!
Okay, the $50,000.00 Gorga Christmas Party!!! It was beautiful!! But, who is over Melissa and this, "It is Jesus' birthday and I just feel Christmas" and then Joe Gorga claiming the party was for "The Kids" NO IT WAS NOT!!! Listen, the GORGA'S threw an EXTRAVAGANT party for BRAVO to help gain GORGA'S AIRTIME WHICH ALSO HELPS Melissa with her signing career. Now, the Gorga's were smart and added the charity twist!!! This was to make it seem NOT SO EXTRAVAGANT!! If they wanted to really help they would have privately donated $50,000.00. My husband is an accountant and you would be amazed at the amount his clients give to charities and NO PARTIES are attended or even thrown. The very wealthy give privately!!! I have no problem with parties and if you have the money then throw a big splashy party!! It was beautiful. I think some things were over the top but that is the GORGA'S!! We will get back to the party later in the post!!
I have to take a moment to talk about Ashley, Jacqueline's daughter. I can't stand this young lady. I think she is whiny and beyond immature. She is TWENTY!!! In this country she is an ADULT. Not a kid!!!! I will write about her!! This young lady whining over her parents being divorced is silly. On top of that Jacqueline has been married to Chris for over 10 years. Meaning, Ashley entered into a family at a young age and it seems that her father did his best to remain apart of her life. It does not seem like Ashley had this horrible,rotten,miserable childhood. I am sorry that she feels like a ping pong ball but at age 20 it is her life and it is time for her to live it. If she wants a relationship with Chris then deny his money and suggest they do activities together. Yeah, I don't see Ashley moving her ass out of the big home or giving up the car, do you? Jacqueline has spoiled Ashley because of the divorce and has created a little monster. I will tell you Bravo would have had a great scene if I would have been Ashley's mom at the birthday dinner! Why? I would have grabbed her damn phone, thrown it against the wall and then said, "Okay now let me make a toast to my spoiled child who thinks the world revolves around her and I am so sorry I created the monster." Yeah, the producers would have seen GOLD!! LOL Ashley, is a BRAT!! Oh, and it is pretty sad when your own daughter is jealous of you on a show and now she is making comments about you wanting to be in the middle of the drama. Jacqueline better sleep with one eye open LOL!
Now, Teresa trying to handle the press LOL. Didn't you love the little the sit down with Teresa and Joe? I just loved when Teresa compared herself to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt?!?! That was too fing funny!! Listen, I understand Teresa telling her young girls that their father went on a fishing trip but I am not sure if it was the smartest move? Two of the girls are in school and KIDS TALK. Teresa is going to have accept that the children are going to have to be told the truth so they are not blindsided. Gia definitely needed some facts. Anyway, I feel for Teresa and Joe to a certain extent. If Joe got into a financial mess with his business it isn't always fun when it plays out in the papers but hiding or ignoring it doesn't always work especially when you have decided to enter the public arena. In addition, Joe made it clear that certain people called and offered REAL help while they were down and out and those are the people that count. I agree with Joe. If you could 'read' between the lines I got the impression that Joe Gorga and Kathy Wakile were not there for them and have only come around since they have begun filming. That does suck! But, I do believe that Teresa put up a wall and sometimes people don't like to climb the wall!! I think the Giudice's have to look at their actions too! Walls are not easily breached!! Typically people understand the purpose of the WALL!!
Teresa has a temper and she refuses to apologize and let things go. It is her personality. You can tell she holds grudges. This will hurt Teresa in the long run. Joe made it clear that Teresa lambasted Monica at the courthouse. Teresa seems to think she has the right to do this and then everyone else is suppose to understand and bow to her wishes?? Teresa needs to learn how to control her temper and I no longer believe the table flip was out of character, do you?
Well, let us finish up with the Gorga Christmas party. I stated above it was beautiful. Teresa appeared at the party two hours late. WOW!! Not really the way to mend fences. I get that Joe Giudice didn't want to go but grow some balls and show up. It is your wife's brother's party and it is for filming. Someone has to pay the bills!! The Giudice's didn't want to show up because they had been in court and they knew everyone was reading about their financial troubles. The Giudice's were beyond embarrassed in their hometown. Teresa wants everyone to ignore their problems??? GROW THE F UP!! Listen, when you STICK people in your town and yet you continue to spend money, buy a new car, dress fancy schmancy people get pissed, especially when you OWE them money. They don't care it was the business that went UNDER. All they see is TERESA spending and them NOT GETTING THEIR MONEY. It is beyond frustrating and the Giudice's have no humble pie. That is the bigger problem. The Giudice's are not HUMBLE PEOPLE!! That is why Kathy Wakile lost it! I mean Teresa was a total bitch to Kathy. Teresa lacks class and humility. Kathy was being nice! Oh, and it is interesting when Teresa decides to make a scene? I thought Teresa was sooooo wrong and I felt bad for Kathy but Kathy is going to have to take Teresa down a notch! Teresa knew Kathy would run away so that is why she answered her in that manner.
Anyway, back to the other people that don't like the Giudice's,The Giudice's totally don't give a shit that they didn't pay their bills and they STIFFED other hardworking people in THEIR COMMUNITY but Teresa Knew all eyes were on them and it she knew the whispers were all about their FALL!!!
Now,I will commend Joe and Melissa for sticking by Teresa and asking the one guest to stop asking for his money and then Joe Gorga asked Monica to leave, LIKE 15 times. I am telling you if someone asked me to leave they would only have to ask me ONCE!! Monica has some nerve too!!
Poor Kim G!! Kim Granatell needs to let it go!! Kim G. is looking like the fool and yet,Teresa is the ultimate bitch. If we all go back to the beginning Teresa was mean to Kim G. FOR NO REASON. BUT, Teresa will not apologize. It is not in Teresa's nature. Unfortunately, Kim Granatell is looking bad! Kim needs to let it go!!
The Giudice's are getting their comeuppance!! Teresa and Joe Giudice are dealing with life!! I know Kim thinks Teresa is living a charmed life but look at Teresa's face?? Teresa is no longer happy. Kim needs to keep quiet and just live a happy life. Teresa is miserable. The world knows her brother and his wife can't stand her. The world knows they don't get along with her parents. The world knows she is flat broke and it is all smoke and mirrors. Teresa has not won. She is barely keeping her head above water. Two books and Bravo cannot be supporting that entire lifestyle? Teresa Giudice is under a lot of pressure and Kim G. needs to let it go. It will all play out. The viewers are not stupid!! Kim is making herself look worse by trying to' mean gossip' and then bring Monica to the party. I know everyone was all over Kim and I get it but Kim G. can't stand Teresa and everything the Giudice's have done to the community. Kim needs to let it unfold naturally.
Oh, and in the spirit of the episode I guess I should comment on Caroline and Albert starting the bracelet 'Crest' for their children which all came about from Lauren pouting about her brothers' moving out! It was a touching scene and at first I thought it was corny but the bracelets turned out nice and by the end of the scene I was 'feeling' it! I do think Lauren is whining a bit too much about her brothers' though, what about you?
Okay, I guess next week is even better because Caroline tells Kim G. where to go!!
