I am so behind on this series! I am shocked at myself. I love the Real Housewives and yet life is kicking me in the butt and I just can't watch everything I want to watch. How dare life do such a thing LOL. Therefore, I must be upfront and tell you I have lost track of the episodes and I haven't seen them in their entirety. So, you guys, I normally don't beg for comments but I would love some update comments. You know, fill in my blanks. Tell me what I missed and what you found irritating in the last few episodes! Typically tweets would be great too but I have been missing in action on Twitter BUT I love that I get all my Twitter comments via email therefore please know I still read all your tweets!!!
Okay, The Real Housewives of New Jersey! Let's chat!
Well, I was watching an episode with my daughter and Teresa Giudice was heading to the kitchen that was creating her dishes for her new cookbook. Okay, now, once again I was multi-tasking while the show was on AND my daughter started laughing and said, "Mom, that lady does not know how to say ingredients." Oh, my gosh, I rewound the show and I said, "You know What makes it worse she is selling a cookbook and then Teresa goes on to say COMING for CUMIN. We died laughing. I know we all make mistakes when talking but she had some pretty bad ones back to back and with her selling a cookbook, oh well, just so funny. Oh, poor Teresa she just continues to step in it!
Now, I think this is the episode where Kathy tries to smooth things over with Carolyn. I sat there thinking why? I like Caroline at times but who has given her the title "Queen Bee". I get the idea of PECKING ORDER but this is a bit much. I do believe Kathy hit below the belt with Teresa but she should have discussed it with Teresa. Kathy didn't need to apologize to Caroline. Hell, Kathy was downright groveling and sucking up to Caroline. It was pathetic! AND, boy did Caroline act like a WITCH with a capital B. I get that Caroline wants to stay out of THE GORGA MESS (well unless she is dishing out her indispensable advice, can you see me rolling my eyes?). It makes perfect sense that Caroline is naturally going to lean towards defending Teresa but I would have been more gracious with someone in my home. I think FAME is going to Caroline Manzo's head.
Which leads me to all the 'dispensing of advice'. I know it is nice to try and help Teresa with her family BUT family fights are NASTY. It is easy for Caroline and Jacqueline to be neutral and see Joe Gorga's side but Teresa is 'IN IT'. It is harder than hell to see the other person's view when you are IN THE ZONE. Teresa and Joe are angry and both are holding on to the little things. The letter was hard and she kept trying to be forgiving but Teresa is not really there yet.
We all have had those moments with family. Should Teresa had thrown out the cookies? No, but Teresa was over the little digs with Melissa and Joe and she thought, "Jesus, they couldn't even bring cookies I like, screw them." We all do it. We all have our moments in life when we refuse to take the higher road, right? Especially with family! Family members touch nerves in ways that non-family members don't AND non-family members always can see the other side or see how ridiculous the family fight is BUT when you are 'IN IT' you just can't get beyond the ridiculous at times!! We lose focus!
Talk about FOCUS! Jacqueline Laurita needs to focus on the PRESENT, the HERE AND NOW! Ashley is what? Nineteen? How long is Jacqueline going to use her divorce as the reason for Ashley not growing up. Many kids come from blended families and yet they survive and work. Ashley certainly knows how to use the water works. I am sure coming from a divided home has made things slightly tough but Ashley certainly did not have a horrible childhood. Jacqueline worked and then married Chris. It seemed that Ashley was accepted into the Laurita family and things could have been a lot worse. Anyway, at some point an adult has to learn to deal with their childhood scars and be a productive citizen. Jacqueline needs to stop making excuses for her daughter.
I loved the Manzo boys telling Ashley to grow up and the water works didn't work on them!
Caroline has empty nest syndrome hitting! The boys have moved out and I do believe they are trying to get their own REALITY show! Anyone thinking the same thing?
I can't wait to see Caroline deal with Lauren getting married!! Lauren will have an Italian mother in law, and it sounds like Lauren's boyfriend's the mother is already cracking that Lauren is a bit of a princess. Oh, boy, Caroline is gonna have problems if she tries to talk to that lady like she did Kathy!
Kathy getting a new car? Was anyone baffled by that scene? Did she get the new car because Caroline was mean to her? I think she got the new car to have a SCENE. Anyway, what is with SURPRISING 'the wife' with a fancy car? I have been married for 23 years and we buy our cars together. My husband surprises me with jewelry or flowers but a car? Really, I know they show that on commercials and in the movies but don't you want to shop for your own car? In addition, my husband doesn't buy me the car, we purchase it together. We are partners.
The Gorga's and I am referring to Joe and Melissa when I say, The Gorga's are a package deal! Joe Gorga is in MOST scenes with Melissa. Oh, and he loves the camera. Joe was definitely jealous of Teresa's fame. In addition, Joe and Melissa are acting. They feel so fake to me. I do believe they forget that someday their children will be old enough to watch the shows and all the sex talk is beyond ridiculous. We get it, Joe loves sex and he thinks Melissa is hot and she laps it up like HIS BITCH, really, SICK!! The two of them are little, no a lot GROSS!
The grocery shopping scene, SILLY. Do you really believe Joe Gorga normally goes shopping? He has to be in all the scenes! Thanksgiving, SILLY!! Her sisters were totally dressed for the cameras and all the leopard? Oh and Melissa's apron, I am so rolling my eyes. Melissa bought that for filming, does Melissa think we are THAT STUPID?
But, the topper was the Mechanical Bull and THE BULL Joe was slinging, REALLY! Joe had the Mechanical Bull to make sure their Thanksgiving aired. It is obvious Teresa and him are in competition!
Oh, and all the SEX TALK with the Mechanical Bull! It was THANKSGIVING and family was over but GOD only knows how many shots of WHATEVER Joe Gorga had before he rode the BULL and later Melissa!
So Far this season Jacqueline Laurita has the same old boring story line, ASHLEY HOLMES.
Caroline Manzo is Queen Bee and thinks she is the perfect wife and mother.
Teresa Giudice is a mess.
Her brother chose to attack her on national television and Teresa is trying to hang onto her marriage and re-build the family finances. Unfortunately, we have Joe and Melissa Gorga acting. Kathy Wakile trying to be liked which leads to acting too.
I think the three originals are giving us authentic storylines and the two new ones are making the mistake of manufacturing their storylines and acting!
