The Real Housewives of Orange County!
We made it through another season with the ladies. I didn't care for this season of Orange County because the women closed down this year. Only Gretchen shared her life. We saw very little of any of the other women's lives which forced Bravo to center the show around the women and their relationships with each other. OR, is that the way BRAVO is going with the HOUSEWIVES SERIES??
So, Away we go! To the ending of Season Six!
For Peggy and Alexis this season centered on them not getting along and them being in competition with each other. I must admit it this seemed manufactured by Peggy. At the party, I think Alexis was truly flabbergasted by the 'lip' statement. In addition, I agree with Alexis about Peggy dragging in the husbands. If Micah has a problem with Jim then Micah needs to put on his big boy pants and talk to Jim. The reason I think it is manufactured is this. Alexis and Peggy have been friends for FOUR years. Alexis is Alexis. I am sure she has made the same type of remarks she has always made with Peggy and NOW Peggy is deciding they are JABS? In fairness to Alexis she has been thrown for a loop. I think what Peggy takes as Jabs and competition Alexis feels she is 'relating' to the conversation. Therefore, when Peggy says, "I had to answer 10 emails" Alexis says, "I know I had 20" Alexis thinks she is relating. Peggy thinks she is trying to one up. I see Peggy's point too. I think at times Alexis is doing the ONE UP thing but after FOUR years Peggy decides to point it out on national television? See, to me that is something that is ingrained in a person. Alexis has to have been doing that for the last four years, right? I would think that Peggy would have noticed that about Alexis pretty quick and it would have drove her nuts long before now. Don't you think?
See, I think Peggy and Micah are the type of friends that once they think you are their 'besties' they want to do EVERYTHING with you. I hate those type of clingy friends. You have to explain why you are not doing something with them and you have to avoid them at times. You know the type?? If you notice, it seems Peggy and Micah are turning Tamra and Eddie into their new 'BESTIE' friends. Peggy said while hugging Eddie, "He is like my second husband and Tamra is like your second wife." Eddie did his best to smile and indulge her. Micah answered her with a NO and was trying to stop her foolishness.
This leads me to Peggy at the party. Peggy was DRUNK OFF HER ASS. Peggy was drunk before she got to the party. Did anyone notice Peggy slurring her words from the get go??
Oh, and the woman lacks class. Look at Peggy in the above picture. The blonde bimbo that is drunk. We have all seen her, right? Peggy fits that description, take a close look! The long blonde hair (she is too old for that hair) the boobs falling out of the dress! The lean in with her hand and arm as she is trying to talk without slurring her words. We have all been around those type of women. Sad but fun. They think they look great and yet they look DESPERATE. Desperate to be something they are not. YOUNG AND HOT!!
Anyway back to the episode, Tamra asks Peggy to make sure people don't mention Donn and Peggy runs around blurting, "Don't mention Donn or Divorce". I am glad Jeanna answered her with disdain. I wouldn't have answered Peggy but I did get how Jeanna felt. Peggy was acting like guests were 10 years old. Most guests have enough sense to not mention a personal subject at a party and you just don't treat guests in that manner. Sorry, but Vicki needed to deal with it and if someone asked her then Tamra and Peggy could have jumped in and steered the conversation in another direction but to walk around and ANNOUNCE to guests like they are 10 years old and like the guests have NO CLASS is wrong. Well, it just goes to show you, Peggy is the one that has NO CLASS.
So, let us back up for a moment to VICKI. Why the hell would she file for divorce RIGHT BEFORE the ending of the show?? I am sorry but that REALLY AND TRULY baffles me. According to Vicki herself it had been a long time coming. Therefore, why not WAIT. Personally, I would have waited. Vicki had ONE MORE SHOOT. She had to just get through the barbecue. Something SMELLS FISHY! It is almost as if she wanted the viewers to see ONE SHOW where she cried and was upset about divorcing Donn. I think Donn felt blindsided. I have a feeling he thought she would wait until shooting was over and then BOOM she files for divorce right before their ending show which was going to be shot at THEIR HOME. Yikes!
Do I believe that Vicki and Donn are going through a hard time? Yes! They were married for 16 years (I think it was 16 years, I have lost track) Anyway, Of course, it is hard. Unfortunately, I think Vicki is a smart cookie too (well being smart is good LOL) and she has learned the REALITY TELEVISION game. See,Vicki needed this divorce, she needed her fans to understand and she wanted the divorce to MOSTLY take place off screen. Therefore, Vicki started it at the end of the season. This gave her fans some closure and it gave Vicki a chance to give her side of the story but by doing it at the end this meant it was not the focus of her season.
Okay, did anyone notice that Brianna told her mother to stay single for awhile 'this time'? Vicki ignored the dig. Was Brianna pissed at Donn? Did Brianna think Donn was a mistake from the beginning? In addition, was that a little dig towards Tamra? Mothers and daughters gossip. I wonder if Vicki and Brianna have discussed Tamra jumping right into her relationship with Eddie AND Vicki knew what Brianna was insinuating.
Does anyone think Simon Barney is getting a little satisfaction from watching Vicki and Donn divorce? Listen, Tamra and Simon had their own problems but Vicki and Donn SWORE up and down that THEIR marriage WORKED for them and maybe if MORE tried it then more people would have better marriages! You know SIMON BARNEY is laughing his ass off right about NOW!
This brings me to Tamra Barney! One wild mess!! I do believe Tamra and Vicki set Jeanna up! Tamra was a nervous wreck because she knew damn well she was gonna start trouble at the barbecue. Peggy was in on the setup too. It was beyond ODD that Peggy approached Jeanna but she did and it was what Tamra needed in order for her to hand the letter to Jeanna. Jeanna said, "Give it to my lawyer" I would have said the exact same thing. Tamra got pissed and threw the letter at Jeanna and that is when Jeanna said, "Listen, don't go throwing things at me I will toss your skinny ass in the pool." Oh, and then mama bear jumped in and Tamra THREW THE GLASS OF WINE and then PEGGY'S friend shoved Jeanna. Jeanna LEFT. Did anyone NOTICE that JEANNA never threw wine or touched a soul. It was Tamra and Peggy's friend.
Tamra Barney continues to WHINE loudly about Jeanna talking to the press. Honestly, I have never even read anything Jeanna has said. Tamra is putting too much WEIGHT on Jeanna's words. You know why? Tamra explained it herself. Tamra knows they are Simon's words and the two are still hurting each other. Tamra and Simon need to fix their issues for their childrens' sake but neither will take the first step. Tamra has trashed Simon, the father of her children, on National Television and Simon has no outlet. In fairness to Simon Barney he does not get to tell his side of the story. It is one big fat mess. I think Tamra Barney SUCKS as a mother because NO GOOD mother would put her children through such hurt.
Tamra can talk out both sides of her mouth but there is no defending her actions as a mother. Her children will be forever SCARRED by this and it was NOT SIMON'S doing. Tamra CHOSE to LIVE OUT her DIVORCE on National Television. Oh, and she talks out of both sides of her mouth by her desperate attempts to prove her motherhood. Tamra constantly posts on Facebook and Twitter all her outings with her kids in attempt to prove she is a good mom. Taking the kids to the zoo, baking cookies and going to Sea World does not make up for trashing their Dad on television and doing soft porn.
I love how Gretchen stood up to Tamra and said point blank, "You know how I feel." Tamra had no answer and deep down Tamra knew that Gretchen was right. I agree with Gretchen, you can't always sweep things under the rug. Alexis wanted the two women to makeup but Tamra has NEVER owned up to hurting Gretchen and therefore Gretchen won't just sweep it away!
Tamra and Vicki have put down Gretchen and Slade, Alexis and Jim and yet these couples are still standing. I am not saying those two couples will last forever but it is ironic that Vicki and Tamra, the women that judged others relationships HARSHLY can't handle their own. Interesting to say the least! Gretchen and Slade seem to have a partnership.
Even though Alexis tries to claim Jim makes the decisions and she talks about the rib and the bible AND I WANT TO SCREAM SHUTUP for the love of GOD SHUTUP! Well, I must say it seems Alexis and Jim have a partnership too. Why do I say that? Jim clearly cannot stand The Real Housewives and yet he knows the show was important to his wife and THEY AGREED upon her continuing with the it. Believe it or not, that is a partnership. I wish Alexis would just STOP talking about the whole BIBLE and RIB thing and LIBERALS and BLAH BLAH BLH. Honsetly, I want to shout "ALEXIS SHUTUP!!!" Because she sounds ridiculous but her actual MARRIAGE seems more like a partnership than her words.
Vicki and Tamra are so hung up on being INDEPENDENT. I do understand that point but a relationship and a marriage is all about TRUST and DEPENDING on EACH OTHER. Living separately does not work.
A partnership is dependent on each other, you need both to make it work. TRUST is crucial!! Tamra and Vicki think you need to be INDEPENDENT and 'In love.' Good luck with that belief, good luck to anyone with that belief. A strong person knows that they can handle life alone, if need be, but life is a hell of a lot better with a partner!
One last thing, did anyone notice that Vicki 'hid out' at her own party? Vicki was whining and crying for a long time before she joined her own party? She needed a lot of people to help POWDER her nose, just saying!
Oh, wait, I always have another ONE LAST THING LOL! Good for Fernanda for refusing to getting DOWN AND DIRTY with this bunch of women. I like Fernanda!
