LuAnn and Sonja Lunch!
LuAnn and Sonja meet at Le Charlot for lunch and LuAnn is speaking french as Sonja walks in. Sonja comes in claiming she just finished working out and she has workout hair LOL. LuAnn says it looks like "hair after sex" and they laugh. Anyway the two women talk about a trip for the women and LuAnn insinuates she wants the tension to end. Not sure I believe those are LuAnn's true intentions. LuAnn is that type of friend who acts like they have your best interest at heart but really, the only INTEREST she has at heart is HER OWN. For instance, LuAnn acted like she wanted to hear Sonja's ideas for trip destinations when all along LuAnn wanted to go to Morocco. Why didn't LuAnn just say upfront to Sonja, "Hey, I was thinking a trip to Morocco would be great!" You know why? Because LuAnn thinks she is being POLITE by asking for your ideas and thoughts and then she shoots them down and gets her way. LuAnn is not fooling anyone, except herself,oh and Jill. Actually, Jill needs a friend like LuAnn because Jill falls for LuAnn's fake interest. It works!! On the other hand, Sonja totally gets LuAnn and plays along. Sometimes, you just have to know how to work a person like LuAnn. I would be just like Sonja. LuAnn is that type of woman that is not worth your bother. She has no real loyalty, only to herself, and therefore I wouldn't even waste my time and get deeply involved with her.
LuAnn and Sonja call the gals for the trip!
All the ladies say yes except Kelly and of course she blames Ramona AGAIN! Listen, I am over Scary Island but it seems to me that Kelly and Jill AND LuAnn are not over it. They have decided to vindicate Kelly by MAKING Ramona the target. They know they cannot go after Bethenny for a lot of reasons and Alex too therefore Ramona has become the target. To be honest Ramona is a good target. The fans teter totter with Ramona. Ramona is emotional and sometimes the fans like her and at other times they don't so the three women figured she would be an easy target. The biggest problem is SCARY ISLAND is replayed all the time and Ramona was not the problem. Kelly had a break down and it had everything to do with Bethenny. This cannot be denied and it seems that Kelly,Jill and LuAnn think if they say something over and over again the fans will swallow it. UM, no! The fans are not buying the "Kelly reacted in that manner because Ramona has issues." Honestly, that doesn't even makes sense?? Even if Ramona is an alcoholic and a mean alcoholic Kelly is an adult and she has free will. Kelly was mouthing and lashing out on Scary Island and all Kelly needed to do was leave or remove herself from the situation. There was no gun to Kelly's head. In addition, we never witnessed a mean drunk Ramona on Scary Island. The explanation is falling flat!
Ramona and LuAnn Lunch!
All I can say about that lunch is I don't know how Ramona didn't say, "F@(k you!" I would never have sat there with LuAnn and listened to her lecture me on how to behave. LuAnn needs to stay out of fights. If LuAnn wanted to speak with Ramona about the personal dig to her about parenting fine but stay out of Ramona and Jill fighting or better yet be like Sonja, approach the situation with a neutral stance. LuAnn needs to learn the art of getting people together. I can tell you, it doesn't work by attacking the person. Although, LuAnn kept Jill and Bethenny apart last year?? Therefore, this makes you wonder what LuAnn's ultimate agenda is in all of her so called meetings to help smooth things over? Ultimately, I think the problem is LuAnn has trouble realizing she is a busybody and she had no intention of smoothing things over. Nope, LuAnn went to that lunch to tell Ramona off, for her friend Jill. A little immature and certainly not ladylike. I would think that would be considered bad manners by most people, wouldn't you? I can't believe people buy her etiquette book! That just astounds me! Bethenny warned LuAnn about doing a book on etiquette because you have to live up to the book standards and LuAnn fails at that miserably!
Anyway, Mostly, I would never sit with another woman and allow her to lecture me on my behavior. I would have embarrassed the shit out of LuAnn and said, "Listen,bitch, read your own damn etiquette book because you don't lecture an adult on their behavior. Worry about your own life and friends and leave me the hell alone. See ya!" That would have been the end of our lunch.
Sonja's Photo Shoot!
Sonja is doing a photo shoot at her home for her Toaster Oven book. In Sonja's interview she explains how the Toaster Oven book came to fruition. Sonja basically mentioned in a charity interview about cooking in a toaster oven and someone approached her and said, "hey, we will back you in writing a book". Listen, that is what has happened with many of the Housewives and reality 'stars'. I loved that Sonja said flat out that she thought "What the heck, I figured I would capitalize on it." Sonja then went on to do a fun,sexy photo shoot and she thought that she invited a friend over that understood modeling. We clearly can see in Kelly Killoren Bensimon's interviews that she lacks knowledge in advertising and to top it off Kelly is a jealous person. Kelly tries to claim that women should not gossip and that women should EMPOWER each other. In Kelly's interviews she slammed Sonja's Toaster Oven cookbook and then made fun of the photo shoot. I sat watching RHONY shaking my head as Kelly kept saying "these photos have nothing to do with a Toaster Oven cookbook" thinking Kelly didn't you model? You must have done or seen shots of women laying across a car with barely nothing on and does that have anything to do with 'the car' no but it is advertising,dah? Kelly cannot be that clueless with advertising,right? We have an image of Sonja Morgan and it is that image we will expect to see on her book,right? Really do we expect to see Sonja with an apron and the Toaster Oven? Well, maybe just an Apron LOL My point, Kelly Killoren Bensimon seems to be clueless and then the overreaction to seeing Sonja's vagina? Sonja didn't flash it or stand there NUDE! Kelly has some serious issues.
The photo shoot would have been so much more fun without Kelly dropping by because Sonja was her usual delightful self!

Cindy takes the 'girls' to Canyon Ranch
'The girls', which consists of Cindy, Jill, LuAnn and Kelly all head to Canyon Ranch. Supposedly Cindy planned the little getaway and the other ladies were excluded because Cindy does not like them. 'The girls' load up in the van and Kelly informs them of her traumatic experience of seeing Sonja's vagina. Jill asks, "you saw raw vajayjay?" Okay, now that was funny! Kelly is like, "Yes, spread eagle" LuAnn says, "Kelly you use to model, you never saw anything?" Anyway, they get through Kelly's over reaction only to discuss Sonja being difficult lately. They want to say the 'fame' has gone to her head but they use the opportunity to bash Ramona instead. Deep down they know the viewers won't like them saying they have 'fame.' The women decide that both Ramona and Sonja are being divas. Now, we, the viewers are smart and know they are saying these women are letting the show go to their head! That makes me laugh because something tells me these ladies are enjoying their 15 minutes too. Also they are slamming these two women behind their backs and LuAnn told Ramona that she didn't do such a thing. LuAnn is such a shit. Oh, and remember they are using this opportunity to defend Jill for being called a diva. Bethenny at the reunion said "the fame went to Jill's head" and Mario said the exact same thing too. It is obvious that Jill and LuAnn are on a get even mission this season!! Hey, "Jill and LuAnn, We are not fooled!"
Anyway, the ladies are chatting and Kelly starts complaining about life being hard as a single mother and how hard it is to find a good guy. She then blurts out that she has been hit. It was an odd moment. It took LuAnn a second to get it but what was weird was LuAnn asked no questions. Sorry, but I would have asked for a little more details. You don't drop a bombshell like that and then just clam up but anyway then Kelly went on to make some stupid remark about not wanting a demonic guy. Yeah, maybe that is the problem, Kelly just can't pick them. No, no, just joking it is never the woman's fault! A guy should never ever lay a hand on a woman and if Kelly is telling the truth then I understand her fear of trusting men. Unfortunately,I am not understanding why she has issues with women? Maybe, Kelly has been abused by both sexes?? Or maybe the abuse has caused Kelly to shutdown completely? Either way, you can't go through life hiding from your problems because they eventually manifest or build into a situation, like Scary Island! Kelly needs therapy not babysitters!
They arrive at Canyon Ranch and Cindy supposedly bought the women bathrobes from Canyon Ranch, how nice? (the question mark is for my wonderment at Cindy buying all the women bathrobes) Jill with that loud nasal voice opens the gift and puts it on in the lobby. Tacky, hell yes, but how else were they suppose to advertise! I think they could have opened the gifts in the room but Jill has let the fame go to her head and she figured that everyone at the Ranch just loved them arriving at Canyon Ranch and being loud and obnoxious. It might come as a surprise to Jill but if I was on a weekend getaway and four loud women with camera crews came busting in on my quiet getaway I might not be so happy! Jill needs to get over herself!
The next day the girls go drumming and Jill will not shut the hell up so the guy can start the class. The fame has definitely gone to Jill's head. Although, I think she would behave that way without fame. Have you ever been out with a group of friends and you have that one friend that is loud and they think everyone around thinks they are funny and wants to be a part of the conversation? Yeah, Jill is that girl. You just want to smack them! Anway,She clearly did not take the drumming class seriously and either did LuAnn for that matter. Jill and LuAnn talked about hair and Jewelry when asked to share something personal. C'mon (sarcasm) Cindy divulged something personal and Jill had to comment about Cindy's remark. I thought Cindy's sharing was insightful and A little thought went through my head, "Jill and Cindy will eventually have a fight too." Anyway, You could tell the guy was thinking, "Jesus, why me? And please get these bitches out of my class." I can't stand it when women go on their little trips and they giggle and don't take things seriously and they ruin it for the rest of the class. They think they are so cute and funny, Ugh!
Ramona, Alex and Sonja get rejuvenated!
Ramona invites Alex and Sonja to visit with her doctor and learn tips on how to stay younger looking. This doctor looks at the entire body! Alex focused on the face. Ramona was working on her neck. Sonja was still focusing on her tummy. Ramona claims she works out like crazy but still needs the doctor for extra help! Alex informs us that she has never had anything done but now that she is modeling she needs to consider it and she better start washing her face at night. Sonja knows she should exercise more but prefers the easy and quick fixes! It was nice to see the ladies just discussing women issues and these three ladies did not gossip once about the other four. I found that very interesting! Did you notice?
'The Girls' Apple Juice Toast
The ladies sit down and toast with their apple juice and they make a big deal out of letting us know that it is apple juice. Oh, boy do they have an agenda this season! But, here is where LuAnn slips. At the table she informs the ladies that Ramona was sweating like crazy at lunch. The ladies all immediately think menopause and they joke that they are not going to discuss menopause. Yep, Ramona is definitely at the age of menopause and maybe her mood swings might be more related to women issues than alcohol?
Anyway, the next part of the scene I am way skeptical about. See, it makes absolute no sense to me that someone who has never been able to talk about their abuse can all of sudden discuss it on camera? Sorry, but I find it difficult to believe that would be the moment a person could open up? Something that horrifying in life certainly could not be divulged over lunch with cameras. I think Kelly felt she needed to vindicate Scary Island and she is using it. Worse, she is trying to say that Ramona is a combative person and it reminds her of abuse and she can't deal with her. If all of that is true then it isn't Ramona that needs help it is Kelly. What Kelly, Jill and LuAnn do not want to hear is you can't change another person's behavior you can only change yourself. Therefore, Kelly needs to learn how to deal with life. I am truly sorry if she was physically abused but you don't deal with it on national television and blame another woman for you problems. Nope, you get therapy and you heal yourself and make sure you don't end up in a horrible situation again.
The adjective for each girl, silly. Kelly as usual wrote an adjective for herself because she is stupid, just stupid. That is her adjective. What happened to playing normal games, scrabble,charades or monopoly!
Jill and anti-bullying campaign
All I can say is Alex nailed LuAnn de Lesseps ass, "She is a thug in a cocktail dress!" Way to go Alex McCord. LuAnn was claiming in her interview that it was up to her to make sure they were all on the same page before they took off to Morocco. I think LuAnn was trying to get Ramona not to go on the trip. First, LuAnn was having a silly temper tantrum about Ramona not sharing designers and then she said, "we were all together on a spa weekend and none of the ladies want to go on the trip if you are going." LuAnn, actually said that to Ramona! How rude. LuAnn should take her books off the shelf now. Really, if you buy her book use it in your fireplace. LuAnn lacks class and manners. Alex told LuAnn straight out that she was the only one bringing negativity into the place! Alex was so right and once again it seems like LuAnn was adding fuel to a fight. Does this seem familiar???
Ramona made a nice gesture towards Kelly asking her to do something for an hour with Sonja on the trip. This was an olive branch with a a neutral party. Even though I think Ramona is over it. You know LuAnn standing there trying to make Ramona out to be the problem and Ramona said, "is Kelly okay psychologically?" I get that Jill and LuAnn are trying hard to damage control but we watched it and Bethenny, Sonja, Alex and Ramona all said that something went terribly wrong with Kelly. Unfortunately, Jill and LuAnn are fighting a losing battle. Ramona is tired of being the whipping girl.
The rest of the event was silliness about Ramona's wine. It was clear that there was miscommunication over the wine. Listen, Jill's assistant obviously screwed up the message but Ramona should have let well enough be. I think Ramona was so beside herself that she just used the wine as a distraction. Oh, and after the all out assault by LuAnn, I don't give a shit what time it was, I would have wanted to drink an entire bottle of wine, hell, I would have needed a shot of tequila!
As far as Ramona's comment to Jill, I think Ramona thought it was a compliment. Ramona was trying to say you don't notice the young ladies deformity and yet she battled it her entire life. Jill is your typical family member that thinks if you ignore the deformity it makes it all better and that doesn't work either. The deformity is noticeable but it doesn't define the young lady and unfortunately Americans put so much emphasis on beauty that it is what we look at first. Denying that fact does not make the problem go away. We need to address the problem but we don't, instead we get botox injections and plastic surgery and then we tell women they are beautiful.
Anyway, Jill holds a grudge and Ramona couldn't have said anything right at that moment. I mean Jill had a chip on her shoulder before Ramona arrived. For godsakes she told Alex to 'keep a leash on her' and then Jill did her typical "I invited her because that is me, I'm a nice person." I do believe we have heard those words out of Jill's mouth before, right? Poor Jill, I do believe she really thinks she is a nice person. I think Jill believes if she gives money or a gift she is off the hook.
Anyway, Ramona is Jill's 'Bethenny' this season. And, it is sad because it is Jill in a fight again, you know what they say, the person always in the fights is usually the problematic person. Remember, Ramona did not have trouble with Bethenny, it was Jill!
Overall comments!
Since Bravo has setup teams and this episode was clearly presented in that manner I will comment on it. The team brunettes spent a lot of time gossiping and worrying about the team blondes. Ramona and Sonja by extension seem to be the targets. Obviously, Alex is going to be pulled in. It does seem like the brunettes do a lot of gossiping and yet Jill Zarin swore she was a changed woman. I wonder what Jill would say caused her to gossip at Canyon Ranch? Bravo Television? Anyway, LuAnn swears she does not gossip or talk behind peoples back, rewatch the episode and count how many times LuAnn is gossiping. Oh, and if you don't want to count their personal interviews I think you will still see how much the brunettes naturally gossip among each other. The blondes did not gossip at all when they spent time together?? I guess Bravo Television didn't make them gossip??? Listen, gossip happens but I can't stand women who tell other women not to gossip and 'come straight to me with your complaints and concerns' C'mon that is rarely a good thing.
Anyway,Those women (the come to me women) always seem to be the worst gossipers. Jill and LuAnn are phonies. They claim they are straight shooters and they are not. The problem, Ramona,Sonja and Alex are straight shooters and Jill, LuAnn,Kelly and Cindy cannot handle it. The brunettes want to gossip and stir the pot and then when they are called to the carpet by a straight shooter (one of the blondes) they can't take the heat!
