Alexis Goes Cowboy Boot Shopping!
Who felt sorry for the salesman? I see a lot of hands raised. Oh, my gosh, I was sick of Alexis whining about wanting sexy four inch blinged out cowboy boots. Sometimes, Alexis really comes off as a dumb blonde. Cowboy boot shopping was not her finest moment. Pulling out the belt and asking the guy if he just 'loved it' was too funny. It got even better when she claimed she should start designing 'boot jewelry'. I was laughing way too hard. BUT my favorite part of the scene was the salesman showing Alexis a distressed boot and he says, "Here is a distressed boot" and Alexis says, "Oooh, it looks likes those have been worn" And her friend/assistant answers, "that is what distressed means" Alexis knew she just had a 'dah' moment and she just wanted to strangle her friend/assistant. In the meantime, Bravo kept cutting away to Alexis' interviews and she was explaining that she was looking forward to the trip. Alexis was explaining in her interviews that she needed some 'me' time and it was fine with her husband.
Vicki At Work!
Vicki's at work barking orders or being the boss whichever you prefer. The camera pans to her artwork of "My People" and you hear Vicki asking who is staying late? She also threatens a spanking for those who do not produce. I think we all know the spanking is a joke but she is making a point that whoever is not producing needs to stay and work. The important part of the scene is Vicki calling Tamra because she has read online that Simon has been arrested. Vicki is a good friend, She listens to Tamra and then offers support. Vicki does not judge. In Vicki's interview she states that divorce is hard and it is lasting. She does stand by Tamra and state that Simon needs to grow up. Hearing only one side of the story, Tamra's side, I agree with Vicki. Simon, throwing a temper tantrum in front of his child was wrong. Although, I am not sure if arresting him was the right move either. Unfortunately only Simon, Tamra and the children are living the actual nightmare and they are the ones holding the truth.
Alexis,Peggy and Fernanda arrive in San Antonio!
Gretchen states that she did not invite Vicki and her,sidekick Tamra, to San Antonio because she did not want any drama. The ladies arrive in San Antonio and for some reason Gretchen makes a big deal out of Alexis wearing diamonds. I guess Gretchen thinks that only people in Orange County wear diamonds, Oh, and maybe New York City,too. Here is a newsflash, women wear diamonds all over the country,and we like to get 'blinged out' (as the Orange County ladies like to say) as much as them! Gretchen goes on to ask Alexis if Jim is alright with the trip. Alexis says yes as long as the people I am with are a good influence and I behave. The Ladies all laugh and joke that they better behave. Bravo cuts to Peggy saying, "Alexis is trying to figure out where she fits in her marriage. I think her and Jim agreed on a traditional marriage and now Alexis wants some independence." I am getting sick of this 'traditional' marriage talk. Once again, I guess I consider myself more on the 'traditional' side BUT my husband and I have no problem with each other going out with our friends or if we were to take a weekend trip here or there without each other. A 'traditional' marriage does not mean the man rules and you do everything together and if it does then I guess I don't have a traditional marriage and I thank my lucky stars I don't LOL! My husband respects me and we are a team and I think that Alexis doesn't feel like she is part of a team in her marriage.
Alexis explains to ladies that she was excited to go to San Antonio so she 'test drove' a mechanical bull and if she could have she would have 'test drove' a horse. WHAT THE HELL?? The ladies started laughing their asses off. You could tell this pissed off Alexis. Of course we had to hear some melodramatic story about how she landed on her vagina when she was nine when riding a horse and it scared her for life. Alexis is definitely over dramatic, to say the least. Bottom line, she 'test drove' the mechanical bull because she knew it would be filmed for Bravo and Alexis does not like to look foolish. Oh, Alexis if you only knew that opening your mouth does that all by itself LOL
Ladies lunch in San Antonio!
The ladies take a little stroll in their 6 inch wedges before lunch and Gretchen falls. I hate wedges but I don't stroll in wedges either. Anyway, the lunch talk surrounds Gretchen wanting children and figuring out if Slade is the guy. Peggy feels that Gretchen has plenty of time to have four kids. Alexis disagrees. I think this is indicative of Alexis and Peggy not hitting it off. Gretchen is in her early thirties and still has time but Peggy acts like it is easy for a woman to get pregnant every two years. For me, getting pregnant was a piece of cake. Unfortunately, it took my sister six years between her children and my sister in law said it took 3 years to get pregnant with her kids. I am sure you are getting my point, if Gretchen wants four kids she might want to consider starting sooner rather than later. Of course, knowing if it is the right person, is another story and,well,Peggy's list was sad. Make sure the guy doesn't have roommates?? That is weird! Alexis started off good with faith and child rearing and then she says something stupid about girls 'tinkling' too much. Was Alexis trying to be funny or seriously was that a criteria for Jim?? I was confused. You could tell that Peggy did not like being called to the table for being shallow. Fernanda didn't say much but Alexis stepped in it during her interview. Don't we all have to answer for things at heavens gate?? Let me rephrase, those of us that believe in heaven and hell should believe we all have shit to answer for and I am just gonna worry about my shit and I suggest Alexis worry about her own shit!
Tamra Goes to Court!
Tamra goes to Eddie's home with the dog leash where they take pictures. Tamra cracks jokes and Eddie covers for her and says, "I'm glad you are feeling better." Tamra says, "I know, and joking is how I get through it." Fine, everyone deals with stress differently. Bravo cuts to Tamra claiming the throwing of the dog leash was Simon's breaking point. This is where I am confused? An abused woman wouldn't line up reasons for a breaking point. An abused woman would tell you that is what she lived with her entire marriage. Don't misunderstand me, I am not condoning violence. Simon should not have thrown the leash. On the other hand I have been married 23 years and I can't say that in those 23 years that things have not gotten thrown in a moment of anger by both of us. Unfortunately, sometimes anger gets the best of a person in a stressful moment.
Anyway, Tamra heads to court with Eddie and she plays the "I am going to be blamed for this" game and Eddie assures her it is not her fault. I agree, Simon threw the leash therefore he must deal with the consequences and when going through a divorce you have to be extra careful with your actions.
Now, the odd part of the scene. Tamra is in a completely different outfit as they were driving to the courthouse and she claimed she asked Eddie to stay in the car?? Somewhere along the way Tamra changed her clothes? I think she went home, changed and went to court alone. I think Bravo wanted it to look like they were driving to the courthouse and this was all scripted, look at her clothes??
Anyway, the District Attorney did not press charges because of a lack of evidence. It came down to he said, she said. At least neither parent forced the children to testify and with no bruises Tamra did not have a leg to stand on. Tamra claimed she was happy and she hoped Simon got the message. Personally, I think the entire situation is sad.
The Ladies Eat Barbeque!
Gosh, I felt sorry for the women. I sat there and I looked at the women and I thought, yeah, they are pretty but how sad. Listen, I am not skinny minny but I am happy. I enjoy what I eat. I use portion control and I try to eat healthy BUT I still enjoy my food. I have cake or some barbeque if I want to have it. It was sad watching them enjoy eating so much because it goes to show you how much they truly do not enjoy what they eat in order to look like they do. Once again, the table conversation veered towards Alexis and her marriage. It finally came out that her and Jim were trying to avoid divorce by living in a bubble. Jim and Alexis need to trust each other and their love. I feel bad that these women seem to live in area that has such little value for marriage and places such high value on looks and money. The women seem to worry that their guy is always leaving for the younger prettier model and the guys seems to worry that their woman is leaving for the richer man. Sad!
Vicki and Tamra Double Date!
Donn and Vicki arrive at the restaurant first and they are waiting for Tamra and Eddie. Vicki tells Donn she has been asked to drive the ice truck at the hockey game and Donn thinks that is great. Especially since Vicki is anal and then Vicki glares and says, "I don't like that word" poor guy, he even gets in trouble for using incorrect words with Vicki. Anyway,Donn acts like he has no clue about Tamra's situation and Vicki says Tamra will need a cocktail because it has been a rough couple of days. Tamra and Eddie arrive and Eddie leaves the table because he is over the Simon incident. Donn reluctantly admits that it was tough to deal with Vicki and her divorce but Vicki says that it was a problem when they got together. In Tamra's interview she admits that she worries it is rough for Eddie but she can't hide her feelings. At the table we hear that Jeana has contacted Tamra and she wanted Tamra to drop the charges against Simon. We know that Vicki has issues with Jeana and Vicki has always said that Jeana sides with abusive males. My question is why does Tamra care what Jeana says? Ignore the text messages and go on with your life. If you know you are doing the right thing then don't bother with someone that you are not close with and has no bearing on your life. I am baffled by Tamra and Jeana?
Mechanical Bull Riding!
Let's just sum it up with Gretchen's words! "Alexis was drinking like a fish, dancing with a lesbian and bull riding" Everyone was having a great time until little ole Peggy's feelings get hurt over LIPS!! Yep, the drama starts over LIPS!!! No Kidding, Peggy got mad because Alexis said Peggy's lips were bigger than hers. Gosh, I thought that was a compliment? Silly me, I lose track of what these women are trying to do with their lips and tits! Isn't that why they all get botox and plastic surgery! Too funny!
Tamra and Jeana!
I have no clue why Tamra met with Jeana? I loved the crying though, Tamra is good! Jeana made a great point, she said, "You could never say something that would make me cry." Her point, I don't care what you think of me Tamra. If Tamra doesn't care about Jeana then she should not care what Jeana is saying. In the end Tamra went to tell Jeana to stop talking to the press. Jeana can talk to the press all she wants. It is a free country and Tamra has put her life out there. End of story. It happens all the time with celebrities. People who hang out with them or use to hang out with them always get interviewed. Journalist and now bloggers love to ask friends/associates/neighbors/co-workers their thoughts. Tamra is angry that Jeana gave her opinion. In the end no one knows the truth about Tamra and Simon's marriage, including Vicki.

Tamra crying!
Tamra claims she doesn't want to cry anymore, yeah right! Here comes the tears. Tamra claims she feels sorry for Simon. REALLY??? Of course, Eddie has to slam Simon, which I understand, Eddie is the new boyfriend. Tamra whines again about Jeana on Facebook. Stop reading it. Does Tamra google herself?? Eddie offers his shoulder and he just looks perfect. Watch out perfection, didn't Tamra think Simon was perfect?
Overall comments.
Tamra Barney makes me sick to my stomach. I do not think a good mother would put their children through this reality shit while divorcing. Tamra has played out her ugly divorce on a reality show! Tamra Barney is slamming her children's father. I don't care if Simon sucks he is still their father and if she wanted to protect her children she would not embarrass them (the kids) in this manner. My kids would be devastated if the entire world ( which for kids it is how it feels) watched their mom saying she was abused and their dad sucked. Listen, I am not saying they didn't have a bad marriage and I truly don't know if she was abused but she is a mother first and foremost. Meaning, getting out of the marriage is good but slamming the father on national television doesn't help her children. Tamra should get therapy and quietly take care of her family and please don't say she is being a role model for others being abused. Others don't have a reality show. Inflaming a situation is never healthy for anyone. A good mother can leave an abuser, get help and protect their children without destroying the entire family unit many women do it
Anyway, my ultimate dislike is Tamra Barney's parenting or lack of parenting. A good mother would have left the show but instead she has played out a nasty divorce on television, done soft porn with her new boyfriend and then partied hardy in Mexico with her girlfriend and all in front of her young children. Tamra can claim her children don't watch the show but her children's friends do and their parents do and that means they are talked about at school. In addition, I would put money on it that her kids find ways to see the show. Kids are very resourceful. Bottom line, in my opinion, Tamra Barney sucks as a mother.
