The Real Housewives of Miami!
These Miami ladies are heating up! Before I get knee deep in the episode I just wanted to say that I read somewhere, sorry I can't remember where so I can't name it and link to it but anyway, I read that Bravo is finished adding Housewives Series!! Alleluia!! I think they have gotten their run for their money and the problem with adding is each new Housewives Series is trying to outdo the other and they are staging too much of their "REALITY". In addition, each Housewife wants to be LIKED and they are trying to control this by 'acting' for the viewers. Now, they do it differently. Some housewives try to be sweet,others funny,others 'say it like it is' claiming they are real. I do think at times even when they are doing their level best to control their image their REAL personality slips through. Anyway, I am glad the Miami ladies are the last edition and I hope they get a second season to show us more of themselves! Although, I already think a couple need to be let go. They just don't bring enough to the table.
Onto the last episode!
Marysol Patton! Oh, she was a beautiful bride! It was a sweet wedding in Denver. I can't say enough about how beautiful her wedding turned out and it was sweet watching Philippe getting ready and seeing him nervous, how sweet.
But, It was even funnier watching Marysol try to deal with Philippe's wine cellar cabinet in her home (LOL). I laughed when Marysol said, "In case I have too much Botox and you can't tell how upset I am by that Wine Cellar cabinet let me tell you I was not happy." Well, the Botox did not hide the fact that Marysol did not want that thing in her home and it was funny to watch her and to watch her realize that Phillipe wasn't going to back down on the Wine Cellar cabinet. The honeymoon was ending that day (LOL).
Marysol Patton seems to be the SWEET one of the Miami Housewives but it is only the first season (LOL) and something tells me Marysol can hold her own if need be!
Larsa Pippen! Oh, this lady irritates me to no end. She just doesn't get it. Her biggest worry of the episode was having the best cooking lunch. Oh, and Larsa claims everything in life is a competition. Listen, I know many things are a competition but honestly, if your biggest concern is outdoing the ladies on cooking lunches, well, then you live a sorry life, I don't care how much money you have. Anyway, Larsa's contribution to the episode was setting the stage for the best cooking lesson lunch. Oh boy,The best laid plans, you know the saying!!!
Alexia Echevarria works! Yep, the woman actually has a REAL LIVE job. I believe that Marysol does too and Lea is busy with charity but we have not seen much of Marysol's business life and I will get to Lea. Anyway, back to Alexia. She works on her magazine Venue. Alexia informed us that it is doing well in Miami but her goal is to take it national. Well, the cover shoot with William Levy was hot. Oh, my gosh, I was flirting along with Alexia (LOL).
Oh, How I wanted her job. I liked the way Alexia said, "It is okay to flirt but you flirt with respect" I agree. It is healthy for men and women to flirt but there are lines and especially with married women and men. Ultimately, respect is important. I didn't feel that Alexia or William crossed any lines. I can't say that with all the housewives we watch!!!
As far as the accident, typical Bravo, it was hyped. Alexia was clearly shaken and it delayed her to the point of not being able to partake in the Miami fashion show but nothing drastic.
This is the perfect lead into Cristy!
Cristy Rice, ugh! The other housewife of this series that I could do without. Cristy is trash. The woman lacks any class. I wonder why she is on the housewives?? It is obvious her ex-husband would not sign off on the kids and the woman does not do anything else and so Bravo really has no footage of Cristy?? We really only see glimpses of her. She pops in at the cooking lunches and makes appearances at filming events for the other women but we really have no incite into Cristy Rice?? With what little I have seen of Ms. Rice, well, I don't really care to learn anymore about her? She truly lacks class!
Lea Black! I know she is a lightening rod. She is mouthy and lord knows she dresses, well, interesting but I like her. I think she is one of the more genuine ladies on the show. I think with Lea, it is "what you see is what you get". I think she is into charity and mentoring. Lea is crass, brash and rough around the edges. She is driven and she doesn't have time for the 'basketball wives' who sit around and do nothing with their husband's money but spend it on themselves. Lea, genuinely tries to give back and at times you can tell she gets sick of the bullshit. Anyway, her mentoring gig was not her finest hour on Bravo (LOL). Let's hope the women were camera shy, yeah we will go with that one (LOL).
Oh, and Adriana De Moura, I have said it before and I will say it again, one big fat mess (LOL). I loved it when Lea asked her if she was considering going back to her ex-husband? Hell, yes! If that ex-husband truly came up with 10 million or 20 million dollars Adriana couldn't be in that guys bed fast enough (LOL) AND DEEP DOWN INSIDE LEA KNEW IT! I think she saw Adriana clearly for the first time. I think Lea always had an inkling but HOPED against all hope that Adriana wasn't 'that kind of a girl' and then that conversation sealed the deal for Lea. But, hey, Adriana taking that stripper poll dance lesson, GOD, I only wish I could look that good, damn! Anyway, I am thankful my honey doesn't need me to be pretending to be hooker or woops, stripper or whatever but damn Adriana is in good shape (LOL)!
Now the cooking lunch. It looked like fun. Larsa picked a good chef. He took it seriously and it took the women off guard. Lea continually bitches about the lunches?? Why? Lea knows the purpose of the lunches, she signed up with Bravo and the lunches serve a filming purpose, we the viewers are not stupid. I am not sure why Cristy Rice seems to be to busy for them too?? Obviously she is busy with her kids but we can't see that part of her life or she is just a bitch and likes to come late?? Who knows? Anyway, the lunch seemed to be going well until Adriana cracked about Cristy not paying for her charity tickets. Grant it, Adriana probably didn't need to say anything but I get the impression she is over Cristy and Lea was thanking everyone and Adriana jumped at the chance. Cristy is screwed, we all saw her come with two guests. Therefore, her claim she only came with one other person and she paid for her and that person makes her even is bullshit. I have no idea what she was claiming about taking pictures with people and having to pay for everyone??? Cristy brought two people, period. Oh, and Cristy that is the RULE, you go to a charity event and you PAY, PERIOD, whether CRISTY pays for the people she brings or the people pay themselves but All THREE should pay!!! Anyway, Cristy is wrong and she was going around town stating Lea was lucky she made an appearance. We saw the event. Lea's charity event was packed without Cristy's presence. Cristy made an ass out of herself. Now,Larsa is just a bitch. How funny that all she was worried about was if everyone thought she had the best lunch and then Adriana ruined it by 'attacking' Cristy. Larsa is a catty lady and very immature. Cristy Rice is just trash and Adriana was trying to create drama, oh and it worked!!!
