I have watched two episodes. AND I try. I try so hard to be a tolerant person. I try to be open minded and LISTEN to another person's belief. I TRY! BUT, I am going to be WAY honest on this one. SISTER WIVES baffles the shit out of me. I guess it is my personality. I know there is NO FUCKING WAY I could have SISTER WIVES. TRANSLATION..... I could not happily share my husband with other women. NOPE! I don't get their faith??? I sit there staring at the television wanting to ask a lot of questions? Like, how the hell do they rotate the "sleeping" arrangement? Oh, and doesn't that just gross you out a little? I mean, I just can't wrap my brain around it. Don't give me this "It is a WHEEL and each WIFE is a SPOKE and the more SPOKES the stronger the WHEEL. WHAT THE FUCK??? In my house, I am the STRONGEST FUCKING SPOKE and my husband doesn't need to ADD ANY SPOKES TO OUR WHEEL and if he does, well, this SPOKE is walking! Yea, sorry, I just sit and STARE and STARE. I know they all look happy and they went to the RANCH and painted Grandma's house and rounded up cattle and it all looks great but why does Kody Brown need FOUR wives???
In addition, why is it that the man gets to fall in love over and over again? Why aren't there BROTHER HUSBANDS?? Yeah, why can't a woman have four husbands?? It just baffles my mind? They look like nice people. They believe what they believe but I don't get it? I mean, could you imagine being 'in the the heat of the moment' with your husband and he accidentally calls you by your sister wife's name? Now that would suck! I know, I know I think of the weirdest things but c'mon tell me it didn't cross your mind??
I just don't know if I can keep watching SISTER WIVES but then I probably will because it is like a train wreck, you can't turn away from it. It draws you in, the oddness makes you look. I try to focus on the common ground but man, it is hard, this is one show that makes me blink and question my ability to be open minded.
