Million Dollar Listing: Making Matches?

posted by RF Club, Group AdministratorWednesday, March 16th 2011 @ 2:36 PM (not yet rated)

Million Dollar Listing is one of my favorite reality shows because I enjoy dreaming.  I enjoy viewing the homes.  Many are not my style, being a midwestern girl and all but they are gorgeous, none the less! Do you ever notice how contemporary are a lot of the California homes?  I am not into contemporary and all the straight edges and clean lines but like I said some of the homes are beautiful.  Now, the Victorian style home, that house I loved, just loved.  And, all that property, gosh, that would be 'to die for'.  I love my open space.

On top of the cool homes it is fun to meet the three agents interesting clients.  This episode wasn't all that interesting as far as clients go.  Josh Flagg got ripped by his client that owns the beautiful Victorian home.  I must admit it must be hard for a real estate agent when their very wealthy client won't listen to their advice.  You know just because a person is wealthy and does well in their business it doesn't mean they KNOW ALL business.  Typically, a bright businessman knows when to listen to the expert and when to push, maybe the client is just pushing Josh a little before he begins to take his advice??  It will be interesting to see if the client comes around or if Josh will step up to the client's expectation???
Oh, and Josh meeting with his business manager to discuss the book, what a great scene!  I know, so staged but it worked!  I am dying to know who Colton is and what that chapter is ALLL about.  Now, that is a setup!!  WAY TO GO Josh!!!

I must admit there is just something about Josh Altman that rubs me the wrong way.  Honestly, I can't put my finger on it???  In addition, I did something I very rarely do for my writing, some research (LOL).  Listen, my blog posts are called Lucy's views because really that is all they are, my views.  I watch the shows and write my reaction, thoughts and well, views!  But, Josh's assistant Mikey doesn't feel right to me, meaning he just doesn't seem like AN ASSISTANT.  HE IS NOT!  He is a struggling actor.  That is what is Facebook page claims.  If you follow @MichaelTRossi (Mikey) his tweets will lead you to Public Trust, which is his Facebook page for his band (I think it is a band) and bio about struggling to get into the acting and the music world!   Listen, I believe that Mikey and Josh are best buddies and Altman decided to have him pose as his assistant to help get him 'in the door'.  That is why it is stressed that Mikey has no license and can't do much as far as real estate.  I know not all assistants have their license but most real estate agents want assistants that are working towards that goal and  that have real estate knowledge and c'mon MIKEY has NO real estate knowledge.  I just don't like being SNOWED, that much!
As far as Josh Altman and real estate, it looks like he knows his shit but there is just something about  Altman!  BUT, and here is the BIG BUT, I do enjoy Josh Altman and Mikey much better than Chad.  Chad was a downer and I must admit Altman and Mikey are no downers!!!  I guess, I rather Josh would have said, my buddy is a struggling actor and he is my assistant in between auditions and acting gigs.  Just like Jeff Lewis made clear about Jenni!  I like honesty!

Madison is still my favorite.  I know he isn't looking all that great with the Josh Altman situation but I think he knows the guy is NO GOOD and it is frustrating to watch a friend go down the wrong path.  "Madison, you have to let Heather figure this one out on her own."   I don't think Madison really meant he would undermine the relationship with Heather and Altman, do you?  I think Madison was soooo pissed and soooo pissed with Josh's flippant attitude that he just wanted to say and threaten anything.  Madison felt blindsided by Heather.  He wants to blame Altman and I think to a certain degree, Madison has a right to blame Josh but in fairness to Altman it wasn't the time or place.  I am not sure why Heather had Josh show up to Madison's Mixer??  Heather clearly knows that Madison is having issues with Altman!
Okay, now we need to back up a moment.  The mixer for Madison.  Such a Millionaire Matchmaker moment, right?  Man, I bet Patti Stanger is pissed these two ladies 'stole' her thunder and on BRAVO to boot!  I must admit they did a great job!!!
Oh, and REAL ESTATE, this episode.  Six dogs??  They stole the scene (LOL).  I loved that Madison was chicken of the Chihuahuas, too funny.  Now, I know that house was all contemporary but it was gorgeous on the ocean, AND wasn't it AND CLEAN??  I mean six flipping dogs and it was CLEAN!!!
Oh, and we have to mention the PINK UNDERWEAR, why, oh, why??  Oh, well, I still love Madison (LOL)

Here is my wish! I hope Million Dollar Listing continues on the lighter side and Madison and Altman don't get too dark.  Tension is not bad but things got ugly with Chad.  Therefore I hope Josh Flagg, Josh Altman and Madison Hildebrand work it out enough to keep the show light  with a smidgen of tension!
