Million Dollar Listing: Dreamy

posted by RF Club, Group AdministratorWednesday, March 9th 2011 @ 5:45 PM (not yet rated)

Million Dollar Listing!

I like this show!  I have no idea why?  Maybe because the homes are over the top and just dreamy!  Oh, and the three young guys are pretty dreamy too.  I know Madison is gay but who cares he is adorable!  And,  all three are way tooooo young for me but they are delicious to stare at for an hour (LOL).  I must admit Madison Hildebrand is my favorite.  Oh, but don't misunderstand me I enjoy Josh Flagg too, he is an unique individual and that is a compliment.  Now, Josh Altlman, *sigh* and shake my head.  Altman is a cutie and he does look stylish in his suits BUT there is something about him.  Sitting, here shaking my head.   Like I say on my homepage, too much salesman in him and that is not a compliment.  I agree with Madison,  "he is a player."   I think he is trying to play the viewers too.  Look out Altman, WE viewers are savvy!!!

Anyway, as I watch these shows, all the reality shows, I do start to ask questions.  You know the normal "get out of here, no way" type of questions.  It is all the little things.  Here are a few from Million Dollar Listing!

The 4:00 am phone call to Altman?  How in the world did the camera crew catch that phone call?  Did they post a camera in his room?  There is no way a crew was sitting in his room waiting?  That leads me to think they asked the client to remake the call and they had Altman pretend he was sleeping and they set the clock at 4:00am because that is what happened and they wish they had got it on camera so they re-enacted it.  Therefore, they claim it is real because that is how it happened and they are only re-creating it??  Questionable at best but my best explanation because there is no way that they actually have a camera in all their bedrooms! Right?

Another bone, I think Altman and Heather planned their little conversation about her leaving Madison for the crew.  Because what a coincidence that she wanted to leave Madison after dating Altman??  Oh, and Altman knew the viewers would think that so he played us and he wanted her to look good too.  He said, "Honey, I don't want you to get beat up by the viewers or me for looking like you are leaving Madison by my prompting so you need to have a conversation in front of the camera crew about how you have been wanting to approach Madison but you are scared.  This way it will look like it is your idea and you are just discussing it with me as your boyfriend and I didn't put you up to anything."  I think the two of them played us and the camera crew.  Oh, and Madison KNOWS IT!!!

Now,Obviously, I think the camera crew gets lucky and from time to time they get some great REAL behavior.  Madison could have died with the client freaking out with the agent and calling the possible buyer 'cheap'.  I think everyone agreed to do the negotiations on camera and the client was over the edge and that filming played out natural.  In the end the condo sold and therefore the client agreed to allow his 'freakout' to air.  Anyway, I don't think everything is re-enacted.  In addition, I don't believe things are scripted per se but it is clear by the way people are dressed and made up that they are prepared to be on camera.  Also, negotiating and being on speaker phone has to be cleared before airing.  So, either they put them on speaker phone and then get permission agreements either before airing or sometimes they get the permission before the actual call??  Okay, enough of my little mind games.  Obviously, I think too much about these things (LOL).

Alright, who is a little over Altman and his mom??  And, I am a mom (LOL).  I feel horrible but I think he is using IT to make the viewers like him.  I just think he USES everything and anything.  EVEN MIKEY??? You know that slimy salesman!!   On the otherhand, I love Josh and his grandma, that relationship seems genuine, what do you think??  Oh, and the twins, gotta love Josh but he is honest he admits the reason.

In the end, Madison just seems like he is down to earth, works hard, intelligent and trusting.  Josh Flagg seems like he is hard working, will get the job done and in his own quirky way he is likable.  Josh Altman at this point, seems hardworking, will get the job done but a little too slick for my liking.  I am over the SUIT thing!! Oh, and I typically love a guy that dresses well but once again I think it is being OVERPLAYED.  I don't like being PLAYED!!  Oh, well,  I can't wait to see if I feel this way by the end of the season?  What do you think about these three gentlemen?
