The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Courting Camille?

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Lost Footage!

Could it be Bravo is learning??  Or, I just really liked this franchise??  I am not sure yet?  The verdict is still out.

See, typically I do not care for the lost footage episodes but I must admit Bravo did a nice job with this episode.

The setup was good.  The lost footage episode was based off of the Reunion.  It seemed that comments on the Reunion led to cut scenes and if the Reunion was not the setup then it was the claim of lack of time to show everything.

I do feel that Bravo showed their editing hand.  Camille Grammer is not the first housewife to claim editing as the reason they come off looking unfavorable.  I must admit that Camille said that she just felt she was not shown in a well rounded manner.  Camille did not dispute all her scenes.  No, she just argued that there were scenes that were not shown that might have softened her other scenes.  After watching the lost footage I agree and it does make you start to wonder (LOL).  Nah, we always knew, right??

So, let's talk about Camille!  Am I a Camille Grammer lover?? No!  Did the scenes shown in the lost footage round her out better?  In my opinion,  Yes!
For instance, I did always see Dedra as a paid makeup artist.  The lost footage episode changed my view.  They are close friends and Camille has definitely been there for Dedra.
Now, as a woman, mother and wife I felt for Camille while watching the lost footage scenes of the Tony's.   I do believe there are two sides in a divorce but ending a marriage is hard and Camille was definitely hurting.  Whether for her children or because she truly loved him? I don't think we will ever know but at one time there was love and even if the love ended a while ago it is hard when it really comes to a close.  The lost footage did what Camille Grammer asked for, it rounded her out.
What I find funny is Bravo doesn't tend to do this with lost footage??  They typically stay the course!!  Anyone think Bravo is 'courting' Camille Grammer?  Seems to me Bravo is helping to repair some damage done to Mrs. Grammer???  Just my opinion!!

Onto Lisa VanderPump!  We got some scenes minus Cedric.  You know, Lisa chose to have Cedric in all the filming and her solo scenes were mostly with him but with the lost footage scenes we did see some endearing moments that did not include Cedric.  You know what? I liked those scenes and wished they had included more of them.  How cute was the scene with Portia?  But, the heartbreaking scene was with giggy.  You saw Lisa with Ken by her side trying to desperately figure out what would be best for her little doggie.  We got to see Lisa be more serious and loving.  It was nice.  I enjoyed Lisa this season but many of her alone scenes were silly scenes with Cedric and they were fun but not 'deep'.  Her other 'deep' scene was with her son.  Therefore, it was nice to see some other moments with Lisa beyond Cedric and the housewives!!

The rest of the lost footage was simple clips.

Kyle had a meltdown at the White Party when her husband encountered a drunk lady hanging all over him??  I know many of you won't agree with me but I would never have behaved in that manner.  I think Kyle flies off the handle way to quick.  I trust my husband and more importantly I trust my husband to handle a situation.  My husband would have quietly removed the woman and steered her home.  Kyle making a scene???  Just not necessary in my opinion.

Kim and finding a man?? As a woman it bothers me that still, to this day, we have this belief that a woman needs a man??? I believe that human beings need companionship but it is funny how people don't pressure men to find a someone the same way they do women??  Just drives me nuts.
The lost footage was all about Kim and her lack of companionship.  We supposedly got our answer from the psychic.  Kim had a first love die tragically.  He was murdered and Kim was talking to him right before the murder??  Anyways, it was funny when Kyle said, "I want Kim to date on this side."
Then, we got more scenes from the party of her setup with Martin.  Wow!!  That was enlightening!! Wasn't it??  Kim was scoping guys out all night long.  Not a good sign for Martin.(LOL)  They just didn't click.
I think the two housewives that might be on the chopping block are Adrienne and Taylor??  I hope Adrienne comes back.  I just like her but she does need to bring more.  We need more than just bickering with her husband.  "Sorry Adrienne but as viewers we just need more and that doesn't mean BAD.  We liked Lisa and she wasn't in a bunch of drama."  Adrienne needs to figure it out!!
Taylor is a different story!  She is a shady lady and I don't like her although I do think she could bring the drama.  I think she could come back and be the 'hated one' if Bravo needs a lightening rod!!
The problem for Adrienne and Taylor is it is not good when all you get in the lost footage is cutting up peanut butter sandwiches and discussing botox procedures??  I mean they really were filler scenes.
In my opinion the lost footage episode was Camille, Lisa, Kim and Kyle with a dash of Adrienne and a sprinkle of Taylor!!
