The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has wrapped up their season. I guess we will be treated to some lost footage but for all intense purposes the season is over. The women sat down and talked the season out.
So, time for US 'to talk' about 'the talk'!!
Raise your hand if you think they talked to death the Camille Grammer Kyle Richards 'fight'!!! Wow, look at all those hands in the air!!! Yea, I was over it. It got dragged out on the reunion.
Goodness Gracious, I was definitely not a fan of Camille Grammer but by golly did they beat her up or what?? Camille had a rough season and she added to it by some 'out there' statements. Comparing herself to Jesus, calling Faye Resnick 'Morally corrupt' and the explanation of the 'pecking order' just to name a few but both part I and Part II seemed to put Camille through the wringer and I thought she handled herself pretty good. At times she leaned a little too heavy on the "divorce excuse" but at other times she genuinely apologized and even seemed embarrassed by her own remarks. I must admit Camille has me re-thinking her, a tad bit!!!
Lisa VanderPump and the Cedric story??? The entire season I wondered why Cedric was loafing with the VanderPump's, didn't you?? Cedric claims he has known them for 15 years?? So, what made them now go checking into his story now?? Yes, I think he is slimy but I do find the entire thing odd, on both ends. Kyle kept saying he wanted his 15 minutes of fame and Andy finally asked Lisa, "Wait, didn't Cedric live with you before Bravo was rolling the cameras?" No one really answered but I guess the answer was yes, and if it is yes then Kyle's statement of 15 minutes of fame made no sense?? Please note, I am not defending Cedric, I thought from DAY ONE the situation was ODD but I do believe there is more to the story. It just doesn't add up??
Oh, another little side note, Kim cracked me up when she said Paris was complaining because Cedric was standing behind her constantly trying to get in photo and camera shots. I mean, Paris Hilton, a person who is famous for being nothing but a FAME WHORE and she is calling another person on emulating her, well, that cracks me up!!!
I will be honest, I didn't really watch the husbands. Just didn't find it interesting. I enjoy them on the show but didn't find their input needed at the reunion. I did catch Andy asking Russell what he thought about Taylor saying she thought he was going to trade her in for a Twenty something and Russell cracked that he didn't have the energy for a Twenty something. It was a good answer, to a stupid question. What did Andy think the guy was going to say? "Yep, I like my women young and Taylor is getting a little too old for me!" ( read with sarcasm) Oh, and we all know Russell isn't the mushy type so he wasn't going to declare is undying love for her, so I thought Russell handled it well!!
Oh, and while we are chatting about Taylor and Russell, I must confess I could care less about their marriage. I have no sympathy for Taylor. She knew what she married and it is a little too late to be whining about it now. In addition, if Russell turned up broke I bet Taylor would run out the door. Taylor is as fake as the come.
The big part of the reunion for me was Kyle and Kim. Kim outclassed Kyle all the way and I know you all love Lisa but Lisa needs to butt out of this family drama. I am a little tired of Lisa jumping up and shutting anyone down if they dare say how they feel about Kyle. Camille and Kim have both been pretty beat up by Kyle's temper. Kyle stepped out of line with her sister and I don't give a rat's ass if you are fighting you don't hit below the belt while cameras are rolling. Lisa seems to think that Kim's problems need to be out in the open and Kyle had the right to scream it because it was weighing on her. No, Kim has to take the first step and a loving sister wouldn't use it as ammunition. Many people tweeted that sometimes family sucks and you can treat them like shit. Fine, but these two claim they love each other and if that is true then you don't cross certain lines.
Anyways, Lisa only knows what Kyle shares with her and Kyle's side of the story. Lisa needs to be careful believing Kyle's perspective. Family histories are always tricky and typically family members see their history very differently. I am sure my siblings and I could look at one situation in our family and give you three different views. I am not saying that Kim's view is correct. I am just saying that Kyle's view is skewed along with Kim's and therefore people close to them must listen and realize that somewhere in the middle is the truth.
Anyways, Kim seemed genuinely over it and she wanted to get past the limo fight. Kyle looked sheepish and embarrassed. Kyle knew she crossed inappropriate lines and her claiming to be a loving sister was hard to swallow. Even I was getting tired of hearing Lisa say, "She worries about you and will do anything for you." Did you notice Kim was quiet and was choosing not to react to Lisa. I do believe Kim is over Taylor and Lisa and she is over them only hearing her sister's very watered down version of their childhood. It was hard for Kim to stay quiet when Kyle claimed the father made money and Kyle worked too and that it was not all on Kim's shoulder. Kim did not back Kyle up or recant what she said in her interviews. Kim let her baby sister try to save face for the family knowing they were lies. Oh, well, I think things will remain AS PRIVATE AS THEY CAN but they chose to go on a REALITY television show and drag it up themselves and now cry for privacy. Oh, such is life.
Okay, onto how the limo fiasco thing started, we all know it was Taylor and we all knew she would deny it and by golly she did and the women let her. WOW!! It frustrates me that they have this little alliance thing going and they kind of not react to each other, ugh!
Which leads me to wrap this up. Notice Adrienne is barely mentioned?? Wait, did I even mention her?? I love Adrienne!! She seems like an intelligent, wonderful, sweet lady. I believe she can hold her own when necessary but she wasn't going to play the REALITY television game and she may not make it. WHAT A SHAME!! I enjoyed her on the episodes. Adrienne and Paul are fun to watch but they had nothing to bring to the reunion.
Lastly, this group of ladies have created some kind of alliance. They made a decision they would not make fools of themselves on television. They might not get along and have their moments but they were not going to go to certain levels. Fine. I like that because there are levels I don't like but I don't like the quiet, won't speak up, either. Adrienne clearly had some thoughts. Look at her face but she won't speak. Kim wasn't allowed to speak because they kept referring to her 'problem'. Camille was the only one who was willing to fight for her beliefs and it was because she needed to clear up some misconceptions. Lisa speaks when she feels her precious Kyle is being picked on or she is defending herself. Oh, and it is funny at times she will make digs at Taylor claiming she is just talking STRAIGHT and yet the other ladies won't talk STRAIGHT. I want some more STRAIGHT TALK. I don't mean fighting, screaming, table flipping, wig pulling but definitely some STRAIGHT TALKING. THE OC ladies and THE NEW YORK ladies talk STRAIGHT. I think the Beverly Hills ladies need to get beyond their little alliance game and start saying what they think!!
Now, one very last thing! I would like to throw out this scenario about the off screen conversation between Kyle and Camille and how it spiraled out of control!! Oh, and to the women reading this, please think like US women (LOL)
Camille's husband (who happens to be Kelsey Grammer, a pretty famous actor) is off doing a play in New York City. He isn't calling much or making an effort to come home OR have his family come out to New York City AND you have the money to make trips back and forth.
People talk. They notice Kelsey hasn't been home for a weekend here & there and they notice Camille hasn't been to New York City, with or without the kids. hmm??
Camille knows how people gossip in LA, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, etc..
And then THE conversation takes place.
Kyle says, "Oh, you are going to Hawaii for Vacation? Is Kelsey joining you and the kids?"
Camille answers, "No"
Kyle, then asks, "Oh, are you bringing a friend?"
Camille answers again, "No, just me and the kids. We will be surfing, and swimming and blah, blah, blah."
Kyle is half listening by now and probably has that look on her face like 'wonder what is up??'
Camille is feeling insecure about her marriage and she thinks Kyle is snooping and thinks that Camille has to always have Kelsey around to COUNT?
Now, c'mon we women know, Kyle was snooping. (LOL) BUT, I am sure she didn't say "no one would be interested in you without Kelsey" BUT, I think Kyle is playing the word game and Camille should have been more open and honest and said, "You didn't say that exactly but you had a tone, like, "Where is your husband and what is up?"
Now, Kim heard the conversation and she knows her sister. Yes, she knows Kyle didn't say the exact words that Camille claims but on the other hand she knows Camille isn't delusional or nuts and that Camille rightly felt Kyle snooping. Oh, and I bet, later Kim and Kyle gossiped about it like sisters do. You know, like, "Wow, wonder what is up? Camille is going on a family vacation and Kelsey isn't joining them?''
To make matters worse Kyle had no idea that Camille was feeling that she lived in Kelsey's shadow and she was starting to have marriage concerns.
Once again, I think Kyle was just being nosey about the marriage but timing is everything and a person's perspective makes a difference as to what they are 'hearing'. It might not be EXACT words but with timing,inflection and perceptions you get IMPRESSIONS!
Kyle, then, made a half ass apology and even hurt Camille with throwing the blame on her by saying she is an insecure person. In my opinion, not the best way to apologize BUT the whammy came when Taylor basically told Camille that all the women, except her, were gossiping about Camille. Of course,Taylor put the screws to Kim and covered her ass and claimed Kim tried to get Taylor to say Camille was INSECURE!! That became the buzz word!! Taylor may have embellished by claiming that she was not gossiping but all the ladies WERE gossiping about Camille and had concluded she was INSECURE. Therefore, imagine how Camille felt especially when she was starting to 'feel' her marriage fall apart?
In the end, I don't think Kyle was AS innocent about the original conversation. I think Camille felt her nosiness and Kim knew it. Unfortunately, Kyle and Kim had no idea that Camille had issues about her husband's celebrity status and then Taylor threw gasoline on a dying fire. Camille was somewhat soothed by Kyle's half ass apology and with time things would have settled down but when Taylor spewed the airport stuff the fire flared then went into a full blaze because now, Camille, felt ALL the women thought she was INSECURE!!!
In the end, Bravo got an ENTIRE SEASON out of one conversation that would NOT DIE!!! Thank goodness women are nosey and they gossip (LOL) Oh, and MEN do too!!! (LOL)
