The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! Turn Turn Turn
I am not a journalist and therefore when I write these little blogs I make errors. I do apologize. I try to catch spelling and grammar mistakes to the best of my ability BUT I do bring my beliefs into my writing. I would compare myself to the color analyst when I 'review' an episode. In other words I am not trying to be neutral like a journalist or the 'play by play' commentator announcing a game. That is why these blogs are named Lucy's views.
In addition, Real Fans Club members are encouraged to comment and start discussions on the discussion board. Create threads!! Okay, now that you understand that I am a color analyst, so to speak, here are my thoughts about the last episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!
Camille Grammer! Oh, my this lady is by far my least favorite housewife BUT I have certain beliefs about divorce. IT SUCKS!! I am sure it sucks for all parties involved. No matter how awful the husband or the wife might be I am sure that at one time there was some love between these two people to get married or at least one of them believed there was some love. In addition, this couple has children which means two kids are going to hurt from the divorce. Unfortunately, it has been researched and even the best divorces are rough on kids. Kelsey and Camille have been married for a decent amount of time and NONE of us know the entire story. What I will say is I don't care if Camille was a horrible bitch and the marriage had been over for years AND she married him for his money because Kelsey should have been more careful before the 'I do' and Camille has stuck with Kelsey through some very rough years and in the end he has two children with her. My point, I think for a husband to call a wife and say, "Hey, it is really over because I have found the love of my life." Is crappy. JUST MY OPINION. If you have been married and married a while and you have two kids then I think that you should handle it face to face. In other words, Kelsey should have gotten his ass on a plane and had an adult talk with his wife. Oh, and then to ask her to support him at the Tony's AND stay in a hotel?? I love my kids but I am not sure I could have put on that smile and that show for my family??? Although, as a mother, I do understand sometimes we will do just about anything to hide our pain from our children. Now, the only thing I will say is we are only getting Camille's perspective and I when it comes to divorce there are always two sides BUT I think Kelsey was wrong to cheat and openly cheat. For heaven sake if your marriage is over get divorced first and then move on.
Oh, and I do question Camille, she is a little sneaky in my eyes and she claims Kelsey asked her to stay in a hotel?? Once again, we are only getting Camille's side and we have to take her word. A woman scorned has been known to fabricate things. Camille at that point knew Kelsey was up to no good and she was filming Real Housewives so she might have CHOSEN the hotel knowing he had been 'bedding' his new gal in their home ( I wouldn't want to sleep there, would you?) and then she knew when she filmed she could claim he wouldn't let her in the apartment.
Oh, what a woman scorned will do!! I know I would go after my husband if he started cheating on me with some young gal. Yep, you can bet your sweet ass on that one (LOL)
Kyle Richards! Oh, my she was full of happiness. Her oldest daughter, Farah graduated from college. I totally could understand her joy and tears!! In addition, I felt bad when her sister Kathy Hilton disappointed her and chose not to celebrate the occasion. I think many of us could understand how she felt because most families have these type of family dramas. The Perfection' speech was a bit much and I do believe PERFECTION speeches are hard on children. No child or person is perfect and when parents claim perfection well it ruins the moment the speech comes off a little hollow or over the top. Oh, and Kyle has three other children, she should of thought of them as she was proclaiming her oldest to be perfect but I am going to assume Kyle will claim all four are perfect, right?? I think expressing how proud is normal and totally appropriate and if her daughter gave her very little trouble that is great, mention it, but PERFECT?? I kind of wanted to gag a little!
Taylor Armstrong! This lady baffles me?? The entire luncheon, ODD?? Giggling and telling Lisa she is jealous of her becoming friends with Kyle??? Very silly and immature! Taylor is INSECURE and has serious issues, oh and not just with Russell.
Lisa VanderPump!! Probably is one of my favorite housewives but "LISA, Honey, time to kick Cedric out." You know, Ken her husband is definitely over their house guest long stay and I get it. They have been generous and Cedric has overstayed his welcome and pushed their generosity too far. Cedric has had a rough time but he is an adult and it is time for him to figure it out and move on. Lisa needs to figure out that she is being played a bit.
Now, Lisa has Taylor's game. I knew Taylor riled up Camille in New York City. Kyle cannot read people and yet she is awfully hard on her sister Kim. For whatever reason Kyle continues to attack Kim for the entire Taylor situation and from what we saw Kim did not start everything with Taylor at the airport. They were just chatting and Taylor clearly said herself that Camille was insecure. Anyways, love that Lisa can see Taylor for who she is. Taylor is a gossiper and a person who hides behind the giggle. Now if Lisa would wake up and see Cedric too Ken would be thrilled!!!
Adrienne Maloof! This lady cracks me up. Adrienne knows that her and Paul bicker but I think she is starting to question the level of bickering. Of course, Adrienne and Paul did not like the psychologist, Mauricio's mother's, answer. I must agree with her, they asked and if they asked then maybe there is a problem?? If it didn't bother them they wouldn't discuss their bickering so much?? Honestly, my husband and I bicker but we have been married for 23 years and we never really questioned our method of communicating. If you are questioning it or it interferes with daily life and other areas of the marriage then maybe it is a problem?? But, I really like this couple and I hope it works out for these two!!
Oh, and Paul giving Mauricio's mother pointers on what she should do to her face??? Poor Adrienne! She knows how women feel! I would die if Paul gave me tips AND I HAD NOT ASKED!! Paul needs to think, some women don't want his tips!!! (LOL)
Kim Richards! Poor Kim, she was really non-existent in this episode. We got that she was at the graduation and she felt her sister Kathy was crappy but not much else held my attention this week about miss Kim.
So, looking forward to the finale and reunion show and it is time. I have enjoyed this group of Housewives but usually by the end I get ancy for the next series of housewives to boot up.
