The Millionaire Matchmaker: Crazy Stacy Ends It!

posted by RF Club, Group AdministratorThursday, January 13th 2011 @ 5:11 PM (not yet rated)

The Finale! Well, The Millionaire Matchmaker New York City Adventure has come to an end. Pattie Stanger states at the end that New York was rough and she had a few failures but she doesn't want those to discount the successes. It is clear that Patti is over New York City and ready to head back to L.A.

Onto the season finale. The two millionaire clients are an ex-NFL player (for now on I am going to just refer to him as NFL guy) and a previous client Stacy, better known as Crazy Stacy. So, NFL guy seems sweet and unable to pick the right gal. We are led to believe he goes for the gold diggers. Crazy Stacy is clearly CRAZY and I am assuming she is brought back for fun and a good season finale?? Why else would a business owner deal with such a cuckoo bird?? In addition, I do wonder if some of the things that Patti does are for the camera?? The refusing to not apologize to Crazy Stacy was fine. Patti screaming and storming off??? Honestly, I believe Patti thinks these little stunts make for good reality television. Spike haired business partner dude then comes over to what?? Basically say what Patti should have said as a calm, professional business owner. Crazy Stacy is crazy and we expect the odd request but she didn't scream and act like a moron. Personally, I thought Patti looked like an ass in the scene.

Once again, we have the silly casting call and Patti pulls the people to come in and the assistant sits in the chair and does nothing. Yeah, that was funny, NOT!! True ROLE PLAYING is when you really switch roles. It might have been funny or better if little, blondie, assistant would have acted like Patti??

Off to the mixer! Same old same old. The NFL Guy was asking the same questions we hear Patti tell all the guys to ask week after week. Patti seems to think these questions are big, earth shattering, and tell all questions. "Where do you see yourself in five years?" All the young girls know to answer. "Happily married with a child maybe another on the way." Oh, that is a revelation!!! (sarcasm) They want to settle down! (finger down my throat) Of course, Crazy Stacy was crazy and arguing with Patti about the wacky guy that 'slipped' through. I loved the way Patti made it a point to explain that she does what she can but the crazies and gold diggers still slip through her screenings. They slip through because it is easy to figure out the right answers to the questions.

Onto the dates. NFL Guy planned a special date. It started with the helicopter ride and then an intimate dinner. I loved the cheerleading move!! Oh, and he was funny explaining where the hand is positioned. Unfortunately, I knew the girl was a gold digger. I must admit I didn't like that she hid her accent and then at the mini date let it out and said "deal with it" with attitude. Not sure why he picked her??? It proves he has trouble picking. THEN, when she screamed and acted like an idiot during the helicopter ride I KNEW what she wanted. Of course, the clincher was asking about child support. I was thinking "DUMP HER ASS and fast." I was glad he seemed to quickly READ this little gold digging gal!

Crazy Stacy. I have mixed feelings about her date. I know that sounds odd. Yeah, I know the DVD screening was WRONG, SO WRONG but she did IT for television. Crazy Stacy may be CRAZY but she ain't so stupid. She wanted to advertise herself and therefore she thought she would get her DVD showed on national television and SOMEONE would be interested. Who knows if that will work for her but I guarantee you that is what CRAZY Stacy was planning. CRAZY STACY was marketing herself!! Unfortunately, her date knew it too and he felt used and abused and he was pissed. But, dude you had to know in those LONG 10 minutes with CRAZY Stacy that she was CRAZY. In the end, I just don't like out and out cruelty and as a woman it would have hurt like hell having a guy say, "Hey, I am not attracted to you but I am going to sit here and finish eating and then let's call it a night." I don't care how CRAZY Stacy may be she still has feelings and it hurt her and I am glad she left. The guy lacked manners and chivalry. Goodness, he could of eaten and said goodnight and then just moved on.

Oh, and the lie detector thing?? Silly! I like the Reality Shows to at least try to pretend it is REALITY. Once again, I missed the reason for it, not to say I didn't get the humor they were trying to obtain but it is a REALITY show things are suppose to feel more natural, not so forced, staged and faked.

So, are you bumming Millionaire Matchmaker is over? Will you miss them being in New York City? Or are your excitedly waiting for the return of L.A.?
