Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: The Dinner From Hell!
Okay let's just get right to it! No, wait we have to crack up a little bit about Paul and Adrienne. I mean leave it to the PLASTIC SURGEON to overreact about his four year old kicking him in the face. First, men, they are such babies. Second, a plastic surgeon to get nailed in the nose!! Too funny. Adrienne cracked me up. She reacted like most wives and mothers! A roll of the eye and like, 'you have got to be kidding me?' Yeah, we love our MEN but they are such wussies, with a a capital P (LOL). Alright, now let us head into the fun of the night!!!!
We waited all week for this showdown. Bravo played it up. The promos promised us it WAS GOOD!!
I must confess I was somewhat disappointed. Now, don't get me wrong. I was totally pleased that there was no table throwing or wig pulling but it seemed to be the Allison Dubuois SHOW and I am not invested in Allison. Hell, I don't even know her. We get the setup scene with Camille and Taylor. The two go out to lunch and Camille claims that Allison Dubuois is her friend and that 'THEY' produce her show, Medium. When you research the show Kelsey Grammar is listed as owning the show?? Anyways, Camille stresses that Allison is a friend, will be off the clock BUT she hopes she doesn't drink too much because that tends to bring out the crazy. Foreshadowing in REALITY TELEVISION!!!
Camille has a dinner with two bodyguards or pitbulls at her side. Allison and D.D. both had horrible feelings about all the ladies or 'the girls' as Camille likes to say. The Conversation in the kitchen before everyone arrived made it clear that Allison and D.D. were there to PROTECT Camille. Oh, and don't we all wish we had a so called friend like D.D. My God, all she does is tell Camille how wonderful she is, how beautiful she is and how great her life is.
Allison announced she was a medium, I gather a fancy name for psychic and the show Medium is based on her. I never watched the show Medium and I had no idea it was still on television. Anyways, Allison Dubois definitely lets everyone know she is a Medium and the show Medium is based on her life. What she fails to tell everyone is that KELSEY GRAMMER owns the show. I found that tidbit interesting. Does Camille Grammer have any REAL FRIENDS???
Oh, well, the dinner was a swirling mess. The Medium was rude from the get go. Her attitude said, "Bring it on!" Oh, and it is fine to be off the clock but then don't continue to discuss what you do. BUT, in her defense she did say several times "Please, I am off the clock" when they pressed for a reading. Oh, and I must defend Camille. She said, "Please, be careful about asking her to do this in front of everyone, you might not like what you hear." I do respect Camille for warning "THE GIRLS". Of course, this just made them more curious (LOL).
I honestly couldn't follow the all the fighting at the table. Faye was attacked by Camille. Camille attacked Faye because she felt that Kyle brought Faye as her 'wingman' so Camille had to 'take her out' by disparaging her. This put Faye on the defensive and Faye went after the crazy psychic. After that the fighting was silly. Kyle did look silly too. Kyle gets a little wound up and doesn't know when to stop.
Camille and Allison loved it when Kim and Taylor started. The problem is that just like Camille and Kyle do not see their conversation the same way either do Taylor and Kim. Taylor believes Kim BATED her at the airport. WRONG. We saw that conversation. Taylor likes to gossip. She was chitchatting with Kim and she clearly said that Camille was insecure and now she refuses to OWN IT and TAYLOR is like a two year old BLAMING KIM for BATING her into saying it??? What the hell?? Now, Kim did act like a teenager with the "GO BLOW UP YOUR LIPS SOME MORE" . Really, is that the best Kim could come up with when fighting??? I can see why Kim does not like confrontation (LOL).
Anyways, The entire dinner was odd. Camille was out for blood and she started with a total outsider. Camille attacked poor Faye Resnick. Does any of us believe that Camille just happened to remember seeing Faye Resnick in Playboy?? Oh, and calling her morally corrupt?? And yet Camille has posed for Playboy too? Oh, but she did it with lingerie! I love how women draw all there little lines in the sand and something tells me MISS LITTLE CAMILLE DONATACCI would have posed in second NUDE FOR PLAYBOY HAD THEY ASKED. Anyways, Allison Dubuois was so F*@#ed up that at the end her one liners didn't even make sense?? Bitch is a one syllable word and that is all they understand?? Shoving the cigarette up the butt and it needs to be bigger and 'she went there'. Oh, and they can't spell friends? Allison thought that line was funny?? Allison was TRYING very hard to do ONE LINERS and they sucked. The bottom line: Allison was PERFORMING ALL NIGHT. I think she wants a show on BRAVO!!!
The two classy ladies. Lisa VanderPump and Adrienne Maloof. They knew the Psychic was there to provoke and they were not going to be provoked. Taylor cannot handle conflict. It makes her nervous and she refuses to own up to what she said. Anyways, that being said, at least Taylor was willing to END IT. She got them out of there. Kyle needs to understand that Camille will never see IT a different way. The other problem is, as much as I like Kyle, Kyle has a NEED to be liked by everyone in the room. Sometimes that just isn't going to happen and Kyle needs to grow up and deal with it. Kyle needs to act more mature. Even in the end she was still pleading her case. Kyle needed to realize she was in Camille's home with her friends and they were NEVER going to see it KYLE'S way. She should have left QUIETLY.
Now, I did feel for KIM. Kyle yelled at KIM for fighting with TAYLOR and yet the fight between KIM and TAYLOR stems from KYLE'S bullshit problems with Camille??? Honestly, if I was Kim I would have told Kyle to "F*^K off." I would have said, "You know bitch, I was having the conversation with Taylor about Camille because you got into a fight with Camille and started all this shit and now you are giving me crap???" Sometimes, Kim needs to stand up to Kyle. I like Kyle but she does tend to think she always right and she needs all the troops to RALLY around her AND SHE WILL DUMP on her sister if that's what it takes.
In the end the ladies got out of Camille's house and Camille looked like the fool. Allison Dubuois looked like a whacked out Psychic that drinks WAY TOO MUCH and she seems to have serious issues with being a psychic. I agree with Lisa, I would never want to divulge my personal self to her. I have gone to psychics before and most have been warm, kind and considerate. Then, Camille went on to crack about Kyle's husband cheating and yet Camille's marriage was falling apart. I guess the psychic chose to keep that information QUIET seeing how KELSEY owns THE MEDIUM. Guess she likes consulting on that show more than she let on??? And, " Camille I hope you learned a lesson. Don't ever talk about another woman's marriage, just focus on your own marriage." The girls ended up having fun!! They giggled about the sprinklers going off and blamed it on the psychic, they made fun of everything in the car and then decided to go out and have fun!! Now, that is the way to end the dinner from hell!!
