The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Auto-Tuned-Up!
Sometimes when I do re-caps of the reality shows I do scene by scene or for the Real Housewives, Housewife by Housewife. I guess, it is whatever strikes my fancy!!
This episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta is more of a Housewife breakdown mood for me (LOL).
Sheree Whitfield, shake my head, shake my head. Sheree needs to find herself a RICH man again!! Listen, I will commend Sheree for TRYING all her little different 'things'. You know, first it was her ULTIMATE dream to be a designer. She failed. Now, there is nothing wrong with trying and failing but she doesn't even seem to want to TRY again but Okay, maybe she tried and realized it wasn't what she really thought it would be.
Now, Sheree is onto the ACTING bug. Clearly, She is struggling with this 'thing'. Once again, I commend someone for reaching for their dream BUT I don't commend a person who CAN'T and WON'T listen and learn. Oh, Sheree. You talk about Kim??? Kim, might be laughing to the bank but she will only be a one hit wonder if she refuses to work on her craft and Sheree will never get out of the gate if she doesn't listen to her acting coach and the agents. Sheree's acting coach was gently trying to guide and help Sheree. The AGENT was much more up front with his critique and Sheree Whitfield did not HEAR his words. Nope, She walked out of that meeting either doing a pretty good job acting that she thought they liked her or she believed it??? I think Sheree can ACT in her own life. She knows how to fake confidence but that is not ACTING. Anyways, Sheree needs a rich man or she needs to open her ears and hear the constructive criticism. I must admit that her competitive spirit is a good thing and she should continue to channel that competitive drive!!!
Phaedra Parks is turning into a mother. I know she is not a fan favorite but being a mother is not easy and not all women love their children immediately. Unfortunately, many women experience postpartum depression or forms of it. I don't like women who are not supportive of first time mothers. Mothering is not easy and not all women have to dote and go gaga over their babies to be proclaimed wonderful mothers. Often times those mothers don't know how to mother after the easy infant stage or the mothers who love the infant stage struggle with other stages and they 'love babies' and always want another little one. I personally, couldn't wait for my little urchins to become toddlers. I love toddlers and up!!! My point, I prefer trying to be sympathetic about mothers and especially first time mothers. Being a parent is an overwhelming experience for anyone and to do it on camera must be even rougher. Babies are so cute and that little one was adorable and of course, they poop, pee and cry when they want at that stage of life. Phaedra gets on my nerves but I do try to be careful about parenting judgments and especially in the first months, now later on and as time passes, all bets are off (LOL)
NeNe Leakes was not in this episode,much. NeNe was clearly dealing with serious personal issues during filming. I felt for her. She wanted to hide from the world and YET, it was filming time. I will say she did one thing right. NeNe filmed enough of it for fans to realize it was Gregg and not NeNe and her fame. Now, NeNe can divorce without a huge backlash. I think she did this for her kids. Totally, my opinion!!!!
Oh, Kim!! Kim Zolciak! This poor woman is sooo lost. It is Amazing that she feels it is appropriate to say, "We listened to music and jammed and had sex" (PAUSE) "QUIVER" with a quiver in her voice." Kim seems to stun me week after week.
Now, Kim and her singing. I shout at my television to stop but then again why should she??? For whatever reason fans buy her songs, therefore, more power to her. Honestly, I am not going to bash a woman who is willing to put it out there and be all raw then have the song cleaned up and the fans pay for it. Sheree is correct, "Kim is laughing all the way to the bank" Go girl!! Oh, and if DJ Tracey allowed Kim Zolciak to use her as a cool promotional gimmick that is her problem. I mean, Tracy is in the business, she got air time and magazine space. In other words, free publicity. It is win win for these type of people. And for me as a reality junky I get to sit back and laugh at the absurdity of it all (LOL). I do hope that Kim has a strong foundation with her young, impressionable girls and they know what is for publicity and what is real. Kim needs to be a little more careful than Phaedra at this point because of her children ages but I have no idea what Kim discusses behind closed doors with her girls, I just hope she discusses IT with them.
Cynthia Bailey. What a hot mess she has going on in her life. There is no way in hell my husband would EVER speak to me in that manner. I have been married 23 years and my husband has bitched from time to time about some of my phone time BUT he has never told me to get off the phone, or bitched while I was on the phone or given me ultimatums. NEVER!!! Did you hear Peter call it "ME TIME" Not "US TIME"??? Cynthia has problems. No denying it!!! In addition, Cynthia already sounds like a woman who is verbally abused. Saying that he is stressed and excusing him is a classic DEFENSE for allowing a man to control you. Another thing, Why did Peter have to go to the RACE???? I mean if Peter needed to be at his restaurant working then he should have been at HIS RESTAURANT and Cynthia should have been at the RACE for filming. THAT simple! So, does Peter want AIRTIME??? Does Peter need to be with Cynthia whenever he possibly can??? You know for control!! I mean to catch that NeNe told her friend Diane that Cynthia was constantly giving NeNe the brush the second Peter entered the room?? Now that is controlling. In addition, jave you noticed that most of the filming includes PETER??? AND is centered around Peter and Cynthia?? I mean he is only absent for a few scenes. The father visit, the bridal shopping and a few of the more women centered events. Otherwise, Peter is in all other scenes!!! Or, Cynthia is obsessing over Peter and his awesome love her?? All signs and not good signs!!! Just my opinion!!
Oh, my gosh I almost forgot to write about Kandi Burruss. Yeah, that says it all. Kandi has NO storyline. She is one big AD for Kandi. It is Kandi Koated Knights then some store and her CD and her biggest storyline is KIM!!! It is sooo obvious that Kandi is pissed that Kim is making a shit load of money from 'Tardy for the Party'. Kandi thought Kim sucked. She helped Kim out because she liked her and felt bad she was humiliated. But, Kandi KNOWS BETTER and she should have put things in writing. I think Kandi needs to stop all the digging at Kim, be honest and move on!!! Oh, and then find a storyline (LOL)
