The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: My Mansion is Bigger than your Mansion!
We start this episode off with a sweet little scene with Kyle and Kim Richards. The two sisters go to get a facial. Once again, it is drilled into us that Kyle feels responsible for Kim and Kim agrees. Kim states that when they were young she did play the role of big sister but as they have grown up and taking different paths the roles have changed. Kyle's life seems to be more stable than Kim's and now, Kyle worries about Kim. Kim readily admits that Kyle plays the 'big sister' role.
Now, the facial cracked me up. First, Kim is Nervous Nelly. She clearly has no idea what to expect and from the get go she is circumspect. I mean she freaks at the thought of having to be naked for the facial. I am not sure why she thought she would have to be naked for a facial AND why was she so skittish?? I mean Kyle was there and she was going to have the same FACIAL AND Kyle gets the FACIAL all the time. Right?? So, Once they manage to get Miss Nervous Nelly settled the two sisters have a nice chat. I must admit they both looked like they were wearing masks from 'Silence of the Lamb' and I was getting NERVOUS watching when the lady informed Kim she was going to jolt her but hey, as Kyle said, "You have to suffer for beauty" I guess risking death is part of the package too?? (LOL) Once, they get comfortable and are sure they are not going to die we get to hear how Kim was hoping that by this point in her life she would have been settled. Kim thought she would have been with Mr.Right and have her best friend laying next to her at night. Kim was hoping that by now she would have little worries in her life. As flighty as Kim can be and by golly she is flighty( I just love her interviews) you just do kind of root for her. Kyle wants her sister to find love but at the same time she seems to always throw a dig in. Kyle always mentions how Kim screws it up. I don't get these two sisters. They really do have a love/hate relationship. I mean it was cute watching them at the end of the scene, they looked like two little girls fighting for the mirror and then telling each other they looked good!! Sisters!!!
Off to Lisa's home and her setting up Martin, Ken's best friend, with Kim. Now talk about a set up!! Oh, Lisa!! Now, this was a funny scene. Ken was crucial to the scene. Yep, crucial. He didn't say much but he didn't have to for his friend.
Lisa says, "You have met Kyle?" Martin, "Yes, she is lovely, is her sister like her (asking about Kim)?" Lisa, "No, you know how you like tall brunettes?" Martin, "Yes is she?" Lisa, "No, she is small blonde and you know how you don't want children?" Maritn, "Yes," Lisa, "Well, she has four." Martin, "Well, good does she have any other hobbies." A lot of giggling was going on and then Lisa went onto say she was nice and Ken laughed and said, "Yes, she is nice." I swear Ken was trying not to make any remarks, or choke or die of laughter. Then, Lisa warned that Kim is feisty. Martin said, "Oh, short and feisty!" Lisa was all no, no and anyways you are desperate and the underlying tone was KIM is desperate too so tough shit you both need to give each other a try and shut up! Lisa suggested that Martin clean himself up in the next couple of days and they would meet each other at a dinner party that was being given for Lisa. Let the fun begin as Ken just KEPT LAUGHING and holding his two dogs!!!
Taylor takes Kennedy to the Doctor and she gets her "I told you so" moment. She sucks as a mother. Listen, the child was clearly allergic but did who knew?? How the hell was Russell suppose to know?? You can't have a relationship or parent with your spouse if you play those kind of games. My husband wanted a dog for our children. Neither of us had a clue if our children would have been allergic. I was totally against a dog but we got the dog. We now have two dogs and yes my husband and I do all the work because that is what happens but my point is, if one of my kids would have been allergic there would not have been an "I told you so" and we would have gotten rid of the dog. PERIOD. We would have explained it to our child the best we could and our child would survive. I mean, really, Taylor makes more of an issue of things than need be.
Kim getting her daughter's blessing?? I have to admit I don't understand but I have never been in her position. I guess as a single parent it is important to include your children but where do you draw lines??? I mean I understand Kimberly is older but I guess that is odd in a way having to ask her daughter for permission. Listen, I think Kim should make sure the guy fits with the family but it should be done gradually and she should not be asking permission to date. KIM is THE MOTHER. Kim deserves to have a companion and to get permission baffles me?? To be careful and cautious because you have children is very important but permission??? But, again, never been in that situation.
Oh, Camille, didn't she say she wanted to get out from behind Kelsey's shadow?!?! Her entire scene was about Kelsey's big moment!!! I don't think it is wrong for her to get a new dress, I would but I just laugh because Camille is the one who said she wanted to be MORE than Kelsey Grammer's wife. We have yet to see her being more than Kelsey Grammer's wife!!! Too funny!!!
Paul and Adrienne's anniversary!! I just love this couple. I hope they make it. Why?? I guess because they really do remind me of my marriage. We bicker. They bicker. Paul tries, she giggles and I do the same thing with my husband, although he doesn't try as hard as Paul. When he got her the dog, Adrienne's eyes lit up. He really knew what she wanted and my husband does the same thing for me. There is nothing better than getting the gift that says, "I listened honey and heard what you really wanted." You know, I enjoyed watching her get that dog more than Tamra getting a rolex, Gretchen getting a Pink Harley, Vicki describing her specially made ring for Don and so on!!!! Yes, Paul had to make sure we knew he flew the dog in from Germany but still it was what she really wanted!!! Oh, and too funny how she liked the fact that the dog won't talk back or argue, the perfect best friend at times (LOL) Yeah, I agree too!!
Taylor is making a big deal over a dog?? Russell needs to realize your child's health comes first. I mean really these two should not be married and their parenting skills are your typical older, wealthy parenting skills. A double whammy. Spoil the shit out of the kid and God forbid the little one cry a little bit. Taylor and Russell need to realize that their precious Kennedy will survive. If you don't want to medicate the child and personally I wouldn't then there is no choice but ONE. Remove the dog and explain it to the child to the best of your ability and then move on. A four year old is very adaptable and really and truly she will survive!!!
Getting ready for the party!! Kim, typical Nervous Nelly!! Kyle sooo supportive, hoping Kim is on her best behavior??? (sarcasm) Oh, and Taylor sacrificing her troubles of dog issues and putting on a happy face, what the hell?? Talk about over reacting!! We didn't see Adrienne getting ready!
Off to Mohamed's home and what a home!! My God and along with the home is his trophy girl!!! The home was stunning!!
The ladies looked stunning!!! Lisa beautiful as ever!! Taylor looked stunning and Kyle looked nice. I must admit I wasn't fond of Kyle's dress. I just didn't think it flattered Kyle. Kyle is beautiful and the dress just didn't do her justice. A little side note, we didn't see Adrienne enter the party or really see her interaction at the part?? Anyways, The three women looked classy and then came KIM, late, as usual, really late!!! Where the hell did she think she was going??? Clubbing??? Oh, my God, that outfit was so inappropriate. It looked like a Leopard negligee!!
Nervous Nelly, Kim sucked the life right out of the evening with the "Oh by the way I married my first blind date." I know she was trying to be funny but guys hate the word MARRIED, especially on a first date!! Also, Kim should do blind dates solo. In all honesty, she does not do well under pressure!!! Oh and wandering off with another guest?? Oh, Kim, flighty, leopard negligee loving Kim!! But then Cedric was trying to salvage the entire date, I did love his comment, "Two peas in a pod"! Now as much as I pick on Kim I did feel bad for her. I mean EVERYONE was pushing the entire date and relationship!! What a rough evening!!
It was a nice party!! It seemed like everyone had fun and some interesting conversations. Russell asking Kyle and Mauricio how long it took them to be 'comfortable' with each other?? I don't think they thought anything of it at the moment but we all know Kyle will think back to that conversation.
The Kyle and Taylor conversation. Wow!! Oh, Kyle looked totally uncomfortable. Kyle didn't want to tell Taylor that if you say you have a great 'business partner' then your marriage is dead, just dead. Oh, I can't stand Taylor BUT I felt so bad for her when she was talking with Kyle. In addition, I felt bad for Kyle. I know that sounds odd but it is hard when you are sitting with someone and your marriage is good, really good and you know from the way the person is talking that their marriage is in trouble. In addition, you know Kyle wanted to ask questions but then she didn't because you don't. Why?? Because you don't want to get in the middle and make things worse. I would have done just what Kyle did, tread lightly, listen and answer her questions honestly.
Now, I would have loved to ask Taylor, "WHY??? Why did you marry a man that you didn't love, that wasn't your best friend???" I wouldn't have ACTUALLY ASKED but I would love to know (LOL). Overall, It just baffles me why a woman marries a man even when he is NOT the love of their life and the person they TURN to FIRST for everything???
Well, can't wait for next week looks like things HEAT UP again and Camille can't let it go!!!
