I know that Bravo labeled this episode 'Trashed Collection' and I get it but I kept thinking as I was watching the show "Delusional" BUT I must confess I would label many of their episodes delusional and I guess that title would get old and they would run out of numbers. You know Delusional I, Delusional II and so on. Alright, onto 'Trashed Collection'!
Kim Zolciak is thinking she can sing! Why does Bravo insist on making us listen to the rough tracks of Kim? Oh, because it is sooo hilarious!! Kim tries to portray herself as a singer. NOT! Here is what happened with Kim Zolciak and her hit song, "Tardy for the Party".
Kandi Burruss wrote a nice catchy song. "Tardy for the Party" Personally, I don't like it but it is a cute little dance song and when you have had a lot to drink it is tolerable on the dance floor. What Kim Zolciak does not understand?? If she was not a Real Housewife it would not have done as well and once Kim fades away so will the song. But, it is fun to watch Kim talk as if she is an artist and she knows her fans. It is even better when she tries to discuss it with a true artist who has a Grammy to back up her work. Oh, and Gotta love that Kim picked on Lawrence who could easily sing when asked to give a singing sample. Kim doesn't understand that singers love to sing and can belt something out when asked. Kim thinks she can sing! DELUSIONAL! Love that Kim Zolciak thinks everyone else is wrong. Kandi Burruss, Dallas, and Jan. All professionals. All people who have been in the business a long time with credentials BUT THEY ARE ALL WRONG. Delusional!!
Now, Kim selling her shit. Why???? Oh, and in front of a "Burger Joint" as Phaedra put it!! I know people love yard sales and such but I am thinking Kim was in need of a little cash. The football player is not gonna pay for everything like Big Poppa! Of course, it is May and I can't keep track but I am thinking she was in between guys at this point so she might have REALLY need some cash before she finds her next patsy. Now, Kim is so overwhelmed by the process and her Dad underselling her stuff that she needs wine at 9:00am! So Wrong and in front of her children. Kim may think she is hiding it in a coffee cup but kids know! The entire scene was sad, I mean when she asked Sweetie, "Did you bring wine?" And Sweetie answered, "Yep" but it was more like "of course". Just sad!
The prices Kim wanted at the yard sale? Unbelievable. I loved the lady that shouted "You are suppose to get a deal" Kim's father answered, "It is deal if you knew what she paid" Here is the thing, people don't give a shit at yard sales WHAT YOU PAID. They are there for a GOOD DEAL, not to pay thousands of dollars for USED SHIT!!! Kim thought because it was HER she would get more. DELUSIONAL!
Phaedra and covering up the due date of her pregnancy is hysterical. I love the way she just keeps on talking like IT makes sense and they kept on throwing the questions at her. Phaedra doesn't get it. Women who have had children and all three sitting at the table have had children know that she is lying. I loved it when Phaedra finally said, "Why are they so concerned about the due date?" She knows why and her lying is making it worse. The woman is DELUSIONAL if she thinks no one knows what is going on!?!?
Cynthia Bailey's marriage will never work. If you have to work that hard to convince yourself to get married then don't.
Oh, the scene with her child's father, whatever!! I am glad she gets along with her daughter's father but c'mon, "We created our love child!" Who says such shit! People who are trying to hard to sell something! Anyways, Cynthia truly has no storyline. Every conversation is her asking, "should I get married?" and we have to hear how Peter is the one that REALLY wants it but she has a bad track record. I am not sure he is marrying her for the right reason either? AGE! That is the criteria??? He is turning 50 and it is important to be married before that birthday??? This woman and couple are DELUSIONAL!!!
NeNe Leakes! I do enjoy NeNe and all her one liners but time to take a close look at some stuff going on with Miss Leakes. NeNe you can't fix Brice. Telling him over and over again he needs a job BUT continuing to give him money daily isn't going to work. Setting him up to talk with a failed business owner might not be the best way to go. Taking ONE BUSINESS class will not make a person a BUSINESS owner, especially at age 20. NeNe is delusional if she thinks Brice is going to turn himself around while she still holds his hand! Personal issues with your husband should not be discussed on television but SHE signed up for a reality show and so SHE is in a situation in which sharing marital problems on television is where she has found herself. Here is my take: Getting drunk, having guest for dinner and over sharing in front of the cameras could be a deal breaker that you many not want and I am hoping for her sake that she has an understanding with her husband or this was her payback for his cheating. Either way Nene is delusional if she thinks this is good. Eventually, some day her youngest child will get hold of the footage. That alone makes it a mistake, in my eyes!
Kandi is working hard to make a name for herself. A reputable name. Kandi is creating her own label "Kandi Koated Nights" and finding talent is part of the process. Of course, there will be ups and downs but she needs to learn to separate business from friendship. Kandi is NOT DELUSIONAL about KIM but she won't break the tie and she keeps saying "Kim needs to do the work" Now, that belief is DELUSIONAL and Kandi is going to have to come to terms with that delusion soon!
Miss Sheree Whitfield was barely on this episode but her two second appearance clued us in that her DELUSION about "Dr." Tiy E-Muhammad is coming to an end. Yes, it was comical because it was all about "Dr."Tiy-E Muhammad staying at the Holiday Inn but the point is, people with money do not stay at a Holiday Inn. You can call that shallow or rude or whatever you want but it is true. If you want or need certain amenities the Holiday Inn does not offer many of them, which is fine but typically if you can afford a step up you choose the step up, especially if you are staying for a while and you need things.
Side Notes:
I read an article ( I wish I bookmarked it, sorry) that Sheree Whitfield said, "I didn't get to know Cynthia Bailey all that much while filming this season because she was so far up NeNe's butt" and she laughed. I am now understanding that comment. In addition, Miss Cynthia Bailey needed to be up NeNe's ass or her filming time would have been next to ZERO. I find Cynthia boring and I am over the "Peter is dying to marry me but I am a Runaway Bride" Does she think this endearing and we are falling for her like the 'Julia Roberts' character???
As much as Phaedra drives me insane with some of her outlandish remarks I do find her more realistic at work. I liked the scene with the young lady from 'Destiny's Child' and Phaedra seemed more REAL, not like a clown.
A DELUSION MISSED that blows my mind over and over again is Kim with Big Poppa. I have no idea how NeNe sat through that luncheon and listened to Kim talk about her married boyfriend and claim she had the same issues that poor NeNe was having?
Loved Kim's youngest daughter's remark, "I never thought we would be working on the streets?" Oh, my goodness. Out of the mouths of babes!!!
I don't like to pick on children and Brielle Zolciak is at that young impressionable age, middle school but she comes off as such a brat. I do believe it is the age and Kim should keep her off camera as much as possible!!! Now, the stuffed animal that was in storage that Brielle obviously was not missing should have been sold!!! Talk about spoiled!!! But, that is THE MOTHER. Kim should have said NO and sold it!
I did love Kim talking about the conjugal visits that Phaedra might have been partaking in with Apollo. "Doing IT off in a trailer???" Oh, my gosh too funny!!
NeNe Leakes informing us that Phaedra sounds stupid, "STOP SAYING THAT" You know she whined it and shouted it like, Oh my gosh she sounds so stupid!!!
Oh, and I loved Lawrence saying, "Oh, the RING did so mean something, rent, a down payment." Now that is funny!!!! Since the show focused so much on Kim Zolciak I will leave it with that line!
Once again, I would love to know what one-liners you loved??? Or, which Housewife is your favorite, which one gets on your nerves and if any is sitting on the fence??
