The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Not so Sweet

posted by RF Club, Group AdministratorMonday, October 25th 2010 @ 6:11 PM (not yet rated)

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has a decent balance of women but right now all the fireworks are with the sisters.  From the previews it looks like this will change which is good.  It is nice to have balance.  BALANCE the drama.  I think that is what Bravo wasn't understanding.  We like a little drama but we don't like a gang up.  Okay, back to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!

It is Easter!!  We are informed that Kyle Richards and Kim Richards always go to Palm Dessert to their mom's home.  Not sure who owns the home now?  Did you catch that piece of information?  Is it Kyle's or do they share the home?  Anyways, it is family tradition to head there for Easter weekend.  Oh, and obviously, these two sisters had just finished fighting. Surprise (sarcasm)  Kyle's husband was asking if all was peachy, Kyle's answer was, "yep" and  "it is Easter, tradition."  We then get the interview from Kyle that she promised the mother that she would take care of Kim and the entire family, wow, now that is SOME promise and that her and Kim have always fought and made up, it is just them.

In the mean time we view each sister getting ready to go.
Kyle packing and stressed and bringing nine pairs of shoes for a weekend get away.
Kim on the other hand talking about a family trip like she is taking little ones.  This lady lives in a delusional world.  Her 'kids' are all adults except for one, I think?  I believe she has one teenager, a fifteen year old??  Anyways, her interview is all about playing games with her children and talking with them.  We then view the actual drive, hilarious. We watch her 'kids' trying to text, not understanding their mother's conversation and them going as far as saying, "I don't want to be close to you I want you to be my mom".  Oh, poor Kim, she is ONE OF THOSE PARENTS.  The parent that doesn't understand where that line needs to be drawn.  You can be very close to your children but in a PARENTING STYLE.  I am getting the picture that Kim doesn't parent.

Easter comes and thank goodness Kyle invited Lisa or the poor lady would have been missing in action but by golly seeing those chocolate Christian Louboutin shoes was awesome.  I loved the shoes.  Of course, the Bunny for Easter was great too but those SHOES were to die for!!!
Oh, I must call my Chocolatier and see if I can get those type of shoes made because we all have a chocolatier handy (sarcasm, remember I write with a lot of sarcasm)
Alright, so Lisa and her husband, Ken Todd, show up to the house and lucky for them Kyle has scrubbed it down before they have gotten there or else they would have had to deal with a filthy place! ( wink, wink).
Unfortunately, Lisa and Ken had to eat regular food cooked by Kim and Kyle, the night before Easter, and how dare Lisa's husband joke with Kim about cooking.  Kim clearly has no sense of humor and she makes everyone feel uncomfortable.
I did feel for Lisa when the two sisters started FIGHTING.  The two sisters do not bicker in that fun loving kind of way.  Kim and Kyle bicker to hurt each other and Lisa knew she was in a no win situation.  Both Kyle and Kim were wrong.  You don't bicker like that in front of a guest if it isn't in jest!

Off to the day at the spa.  Gosh, that day was a train wreck.  Kim is a train wreck.  I am not sure what she means about my house, my rules???  Her 'kids' are adults. Yes, I agree if you own a home and your 'kids' still depend on you then unfortunately they get tied to some rules but it seems like her 'kids' come and go so I am not sure what is the deal?? Kim has serious issues.  Kyle, though, needs to stay out of some issues.  Sometimes you just don't get involved.  Kyle knew her sister was upset with the daughter going to Houston and Kyle really didn't need to give an opinion.  The daughter is 20 and she wanted to go with the father.  The daughter should be able to handle the situation on her own and Kyle did not need to step in.  I do think that Kyle does need to stay out of it at times, even if the 'kids' come to her.  Sometimes, her answer needs to be, "You are adults talk to your mom yourself".  Kyle is an enabler.  She likes the controlling role.  Believe me, if Kim started living her life without Kyle's input Kyle would freak.  Don't let Kyle fool you.  The sisters have an odd relationship!

Jeez, off to the rest of the wives (LOL).

Taylor Armstrong what did she do this episode??  Oh, all I really remember is her huge speech about the importance of dressing to impress.  Life is rough (sarcasm) Oh, and I think she is ugly as sin therefore she NEEDS the clothes to help her (LOL). SOOOO, some stylist comes over and the clothes might have cost a shitload but they were BUTT ugly.  Her stylist sucked and Taylor just seems so superficial.  C'mon, the pathetic conversation with Bruce Jenner's ex wife. (I am rolling my eyes) Here is a clue ladies, "You don't have to go to AFRICA to see starving people"  ( I am shouting that statement at those two superficial bitches) That conversation pissed me off to no end.  Nothing like the super rich sitting around worrying how to 'ground' their children and they think they have to go to AFRICA to do it.  (Inserting finger down the back of my throat so I can puke)

Onto Adrienne Maloof.  As of right now I kind of like this feisty little lady.  Yeah, I know her photo shoot was ALL because she owns the Palm Dessert but hey the perks of being an owner!  I must admit I thought she was silly about not taking her kids and NOT WANTING to spend the evening with her husband??  Listen wives, "It is important to do little getaways with your husband.  Your children grow up and you are left with your husband.  Don't lose your relationship with your husband."  Oh, well, the photo shoot was hot and her husband was too cute being all jealous and what wife doesn't like her husband getting a little jealous here and there??

I have already stated from the get go that I can't stand Camille Grammer and so far nothing has changed my mind.  Like Camille's statement, "Oh, I flew my designer in first class from New York for the afternoon."  That is just being SUPER snobby and not necessary and SO not needed to be said!  It comes off as desperate to impress. (There I go rolling my eyes AGAIN)    Then, in the next breath she tries to claim she works and she is OWN PERSON.  SHE does not need Kelsey.  Camille, "Quit saying it, show it"   Here is my thought, sorry, but the woman NEEDS KELSEY'S name to get through any door.  Now, what she does once she gets through the door is up to her but please, I am over  IT!
I guess we were suppose to understand her need for nannies and house staff because of how hard she works (sarcasm, read it with A LOT of sarcasm)

Okay, which Beverly wife are you liking?  Do you think Kyle oversteps at times??  Do you have Beverly wife on you "not like" list?
