Okay, I lied. I swore I wasn't going to watch the episode of the Salahi's allegedly crashing the White House State Dinner. I must admit the main reason I watched. I have been without Bravo since the middle of August. I have to had to purchase the shows off of iTunes, wait for them to be on the Bravo website or search the Internet in order to watch my Bravo shows BUT today I got Bravo. My husband surprised me and got DirectTV and today was the day it was installed and by golly I have had Bravo on since the Technician said, 'You are ready to go!"
Anyways, the infamous ALLEGED crashing of the White House State Dinner Episode. It came and went. Then, low and behold the Salahi's were on Watch What Happens Live after the episode and Tareq's father died yesterday. Can you say Unbelievable?? You know what? That says it all about these losers. Once again, I have made it crystal clear from day one that I can't stand these two people. I truly believe that the Salahi's made a mockery of our President and his security all for REALITY TELEVISION. Listen, I believe the Salahi's used Bravo too. They figured if they pulled up with a television crew no one would question them too much. Unfortunately, it worked, kinda of sort of. The Salahi's showed up at the White House looking the part. They came with a television crew. The Salahi's arrived early knowing this would work to their advantage. The young girl sent them on even though she clearly said their names were not on the list but she claimed the next check point would straighten it out. Um,No, they assumed she did her job. I do hope that young lady was fired. I mean she was wrong. She should never have let them through. So right there you saw how easily OUR SECURITY was breached. I was tweeted a question of why I was so angry with the Salahi's and not our security. First, I think the security breach is inexcusable but the reason I am angry at the Salahi's, they are adults pulling shit with our President and filming it. I guess I am old fashion and believe in being loyal to your country and you don't put it at risk for your own agenda. You put all of us at risk. Make no mistake others are watching. I am tired of people acting as if they are not responsible for their actions and they want to pass the buck. "Well, if security did it's job we would not have succeeded." Bullshit, you shouldn't have tried. GROW UP!!!
I was pleased with Bravo's portrayal. I believe they buried the Salahi's and please it wasn't for altruistic reasons. Hell no, Bravo was covering their ass. Michaele lives in a dream world along with her soul mate Tareq. They had the audacity on WWHL to say that they believed the episode clearly vindicated them. On what planet??? I agree with Lynda, they are Bonnie and Clyde! Idiots that will go down fighting but they will go down!
The fall out from the Salahi's alleged stunt affected their cast mates but Cat paid a dear price. I think it was wrong for the White House to uninvite Cat because of the Salahi's but you know Cat kept that quiet. She could have made a stink about it and questioned the White House. She didn't. I believe Cat has more respect for our President and our government than the other ladies. I was thrilled that she ripped the Salahi's. Honestly, I was over Stacie and her husband. You know I believe in tolerance and being polite but you don't take it in the ass when people have clearly crossed lines Oh, you know the scene I am talking about? The ending scene where Stacie and Cat wanted to confront Michaele. Michaele ran. RAN AWAY! Michaele does not like situations that she does not control with her superficial bullshit. You know with all her "love you, you are great, we need to do this more often" She is so full of shit it is amazing she is thin?? In addition, Michaele spews so much bullshit and people just let her that she was stunned that Cat and then Stacie confronted her. Michaele is so superficial that she truly has no clue what it is like to have a REAL conversation.
Anyways, this show was the chance for the other women to finally distance themselves from the Salahi's. They needed this to re build their names in the town they live. In addition, they wanted Americans to know they can't stand the Salahi's and they think they are nuts. Mary and Lynda had already put that distance up but this was their chance to stomp into the ground! Anyways, typically I can't stand a gang up but the Salahi's are delusional. Michaele lies at every turn and Tareq too. I loved all the analogies. Bonnie and Clyde and Thelma and Louise but my favorite was by a tweeter Dumb & Dumber. The Salahi's definitely deserved the gang up. They are pathological liars. I know Stacie wanted answers but what she doesn't get is they believe their lies. Michaele believes she was Washington Redskin Cheerleader. Michaele believes she has MS. The Salahi's believe they were invited to the White House. That is why Micheale runs when confronted. Pathological liars run, cry, act traumatized or victimized when confronted with facts. Michaele couldn't deal with Stacie and her husband when they mentioned SHAME on the NAME. That hit home with Michaele more than anything. Why? Because she loves the media and she was reading, watching and eating it up the media and she knew deep down it was bad. She knew SHAME was the right word. It wasn't blowing over. It has not blown over. The Salahi's may not have been formally charged with anything but they are paying a price and you know damn well they are paying a price in D.C. The one place Michaele wanted desperately to gain power.
I feel bad for the other ladies as far as this finale. It was an odd one. I mean it was all about the Salahi's and their alleged crashing of the White House and Bravo had to have the women get together to view some of the hearings to have footage. I understand Mary enjoying seeing them on the hot seat. I mean I know I would seeing how they were going after her daughter without proof. But, anyways, it was weird all of it and awkward and then Bravo throws up the endings with the ladies pictures and what is happening in their lives. And yet, I was like, wait, this is real, these housewives held their ground. No phony dinner held by Stacie and all of them together. Nope. Mary and Lynda said no flipping way and Cat showed up because she had an axe to grind, rightfully so but Bravo could not get that final dinner or get together, not with these ladies.
In the end I am glad Real Housewives of D.C. is over. These women went to the extreme of being not like the other Housewives. Unfortunately, they were boring. I will state again there needs to be a balance. Mary needs to quit playing the "I want to please everyone and be liked by everyone game." Lynda tried hard to come across as this strong business woman that doesn't need a man and can hold her own. I loved it that Paul let us know that Lynda got wealthy the old fashion way, you know she married it (LOL). Stacie was out to impress this season too and the adoption story was all she was willing to share. It fell flat. Cat seemed to be the only REAL one and even though she had moments I will take REAL over manufactured any day. Go Cat. I think you all know I hope we never see Michaele after the reunion!!!
