Thank Goodness for the Real Housewives of Atlanta! It was so nice to have them back!!
Oh, Sheree Whitfield. She is such a lost soul. First she had a passion for designing clothes. Now, she is putting it on hold to pursue her passion for acting??? Oh, my! I guess we should give her credit for trying. Although, I must admit I did giggle when she said she would be winning an Oscar someday or she could see herself winning one someday or something like that (LOL). I know it is important to have good self esteem but when is one crossing a line between healthy self esteem and one being delusional?? Plus, really, how do you put a Fashion Line on hold for a brief second????
When NeNe Leakes enters the acting class all goes to hell in a hand basket, imagine that?? That acting teacher was pissed and then another student loses focuses and thank goodness class is over, once again thank goodness that class ended!! Why? Because we get to the juicy stuff. Is Kim gay or is she not?? NeNe and Sheree pretty much say what the rest of us were thinking about the entire Kim Zolciak being gay, "um, yeah, right?" I did love Sheree saying, " She never hit on me." Poor Sheree she seemed genuinely upset that if Kim possibly was a bisexual how could she not want Sheree?? Too funny!!
Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak have made peace long enough to film. It is nice to see them at peace. I do believe the filming forced the peace. Oh, I believe that Nene and Kim have a love/hate relationship too. I think they enjoy each other but unfortunately they both are high maintenance. Both women tend to think they are always right and they speak their mind and that leads to trouble. Bottom line the peace won't last and Kandi Burruss knows it too. Sheree is use to the Kim and NeNe saga and she didn't bother to question it too much either. Although, I think both women questioned it appropriately for the viewers and Kim and NeNe were able to give their convoluted answers when US viewers wanted to shout or some of us probably did shout at the television "Right, we believe you too like we believe 'America Can Change' and we know you two are meeting in order to film for the show, dah?"
Okay so we make it through them meeting and explaining why they are meeting and how Kim thought it was cute NeNe went all out for them to meet and NeNe played it all up that she was nervous and she had to make it all special and THANK YOU GOD that Gregg was around to say it for this for US viewers, "You have to be freaking kidding me! The two of you are flippin ridiculous and this all such bullshit" Okay, so I might have improvised on Gregg's words but his tone and his actions pretty much was saying what I wrote, don't you agree??
Kim and NeNe start gossiping and setting the stage for the season. We get clued in very fast that things are not great with Greg and NeNe. Kim basically says, "Yeah, I tried the other side because, well, why not and hey, let's just leave it that, alright?" NeNe is like, "Alright, but girl, you always went after men and well, you just really threw us for a loop and oh, by the way so what is it really like to be with a gal?" Kim answers so nicely, "The same thing that Gregg does to you" We all just LOVED THAT VISUAL. RIGHT???
Oh, but we all know the sexy talk gets even better later! We get a fun conversation about sex with Kandi and new beau, Willis the Football player. But, wait before we get to that conversation we have to catch up with Kandi. We get to catch up with Kandi through her and Kim having a lunch date, I think it is lunch?? Anyways, we learn that Kandi's mom is the same. We learn Kandi is still devastated but starting to date and working her ass off on her new album, which she restarted after the death of AJ. Once, we get caught up on Miss Kandi we get down to gossip. Now, c'mon we all love the gossip part.
Kandi nails Kim on two issues. NeNe and DJ Tracy Young. Basically, Kandi says, "Not sure what you are up to with NeNe but more power to you and we seem to have the same conversation over and over again about NeNe but once again whatever." Then, Kandi nails Miss Kim's ass about doing the In Style interview. Kandi didn't focus on the relationship as much as why was Kim going to the Media. I did love it when Kim evaded questions and Kandi was like, "Are you kidding me? She announces bullshit in the tabloids and then she won't talk one on one with me???"
After their little gossip session we then get to meet Willis. Kandi is making it clear she wants to go slow, very slow. This means she does not want to have sex. What better way than to tell a guy by letting him know you have made a bet with a friend about not having sex until ..... Yeah, men love that but hey Willis rolled with it. Well wait let me rephrase, I mean at first he was like, "What, why, and how could you and then this little light bulb when off he said, "Does the bet include Oral Sex?" Kandi throws him a bone and says, "No, I don't think so????" He took that to mean Oral Sex is on, of course, missing her inflection of, "Wow, I wasn't thinking of Oral Sex?"
On, that note we zip over to Kim hoping that she instilled her parents values in her daughter because Kim has turned out awesome?? Wow, Kim doesn't look in the mirror, the self mirror. Once again, I understand the need for good self esteem but does Kim really want her daughter to turn out like her?? Sleeping with married men and what not?? I found the conversation with her daughter wrong, just wrong on so many levels. Kim was actually giving her 13 year old dating tips?? I know you don't want to hide under a rug with your kids but really a 13 year old dating??? And, a mother giving a 13 year old dating tips??? Oh, my!!! I was incredibly stunned by Brielle stating to her mother that she wanted to "plant one" on the young boy they were talking about. Honestly, I wouldn't want to hear my 19 year old say such a sexual comment to me let alone a 13 year old? I know it is IN to be your kids FRIEND but I just believe you should parent first and Kim was not parenting and Brielle is going down quite a path. I hope the best for that young lady and maybe she will find her way.
After all the talk about what side of the fence Kim is on, Kandi and her sexual bet and Kim giving her daughter dating tips we meet the new lady, Phaedra. Phaedra seems to be hung up on Southern Belle baloney. She talks really, really, slow and enunciates words to the extreme but make no mistake she is Faboulus, Fierce and Beautiful. Oh, and she plans to have it all!! I guess we are suppose assume in her eyes having it all is being a mom, wife and lawyer and Now Reality Star (LOL). In all honesty I felt her most "REAL" scene was with her and Dwight. Can't place it totally but just parts of that scene you could see the REAL her the other scenes she was definitely acting for the camera or maybe not acting but she was very aware of the cameras and she wants to come off as an intelligent, powerful, beautiful woman. I think she is to a certain degree but she does need to loosen up in front of the cameras and she needs to be honest. You can be intelligent and powerful and still have honest moments. You know, chit chat about people who get under your skin and such and have an honest reaction. I think it will happen with her and it will be NeNe that brings it out because she clearly does not like NeNe.
Which leads right to NeNe. We see the setup for the Housewives to be at their first event together. Some kind of shoe preview show??? I don't know sounded like a shoe party. Anyways, what was more uncomfortable was the conversation with NeNe and Gregg. I don't know about you guys but that was one weird conversation. Gregg and NeNe seemed to be speaking in circles and something seemed up??
Typically, I don't care about Bravo's quick small scene's but I must admit I got a kick out of watching Kandi try to politely tell Kim her parenting sucks (LOL)!
Oh, then we hear Sheree tell her friend that Dwight is telling lies about how much he spent while helping her with the Fashion Show. We are then told he is stunt queen, you know, some one who pulls stunts to make a living! We had already heard the other side of the story when Dwight and Phaedra had cake and tea. Now, do I believe Sheree that Dwight didn't put a dollar into it?? Well, time is money so he did put something into it! Do I believe Dwight spent $30,000.00 and not notice? On what fucking planet?? I mean, let me tell you even the rich notice where their money goes, um that is why they are rich and I'm thinking if you NEED all your dollars then you notice what you are spending. Once Dwight started dropping $500.00 and $1000.00 here and there he should have went to Sheree. Anyways, we now know Dwight is in the dog house!! Oh, and we are seeing that Dwight is in the middle of the Housewives crap. And another Oh, I think Dwight will be loving this!
The Setup has been SET! Now onto the SCENE!
The shoe party.
On the way to the Shoe party we are finding out more about NeNe. Kim asks her, "Where is happy NeNe?" and NeNe says, "You know things aren't going so well in my life and it is hard to be happy NeNe." We get that, right? But, this should definitely be seen as foreshadowing.
NeNe gets to the party and drinks too much. She sees someone that she thought was a friend (Dwight) and he has been talking shit and she went off. On top of it NeNe does not like Phaedra and he came in with her. Double whammy!!! I understood the conversation with Kim in the car after they left. I bet NeNe was mad at herself but things just came to a head. NeNe did seem genuinely touched that Kim and Sheree came to her defense and stood by her when things spiraled out of control. I did have to giggle, I didn't see Dwight being a Tiger, did you?? (LOL)
Of course, the previews look good and it seems that NeNe is going to have a rough season. I am hoping to see Kandi get a little more feisty. Of course, it doesn't look like Kim and NeNe stay peaceful the entire season, now that would be something (LOL).
Anyways, it was nice to have the ladies back in action!!!
