Project Runway: Casanova We Will Miss You!

posted by RF Club, Group AdministratorFriday, September 10th 2010 @ 2:33 AM (not yet rated)

No Fucking Way!  Yep, I am starting off at the end!  Casanova got the axe and that is bullshit.  Listen, all three in the bottom sucked but Ivy's was a total disaster!  It wasn't even wearable.  Let's be honest!  At least you could wear Casanova's.  Not to mention Ivy once again blaming another person for the problem.  In addition, wasn't part of the challenge to see how well the designer could instruct another person in producing their design??  Ivy lacks that skill. In other words, Ivy failed the challenge!!!

Okay, onto to the winners!!!  Michael Drummond didn't even have a chance to enjoy his moment in the top three.  Ivy, the bitch, was breathing down his back.   Poor Andy, he had a beautiful swimsuit and cover up but that is so predictable in resort fashion.  April knocked it out of the park with her design and oh, boy did she get lucky with Christopher for her partner because I think he probably executed it better than April.

Now, for the rest of the show.  Um, it was a little on the boring side tonight.  It was a big Michael Kors advertisement.  We were hit over the head that Michael is a designer with his own line and he even offers great accessories!  Did you love the sunglasses!  Please read with sarcasm.

Now, to add to the theme of resort they shuffle the designers off on a short little cruise in New York where they are instructed to sketch on their HP Notepads.  Please keep hitting us over the head with advertising.

Then, we are treated to a long workroom scene because it is all Michael Kors.  He practically told the designers what to do if it wasn't quite right.  Um, Michael needed to take a chill pill and poor Tim, he needed to grab Michael and say, " You listen but you don't tell them what to do EXACTLY to fix the garment.  You gently guide them!"   I didn't mind Michael attempting to do a workroom scene he just needed a to be more of a guide and less of a designer.
Anyways, the designers that listened came out on top, the ones that didn't landed in the bottom.  Really there were no surprises in this show.

It was the same old chit chat too.  More crap about how they think Michael C sucks.  Oh, and then by the end of the show Mondo is pleasantly surprised by Michael C.

Ooo what was good?? Michael Drummond  being questioned by Queen Ivy and his skills being called incompetent.  Michael C loved it.  The designers seemed to defend Ivy to a certain degree again and yet they like Michael Drummond too so I was confused.  But, there is a pattern, Ivy has had two awful outfits and twice she has escaped because she has thrown another person under the bus.  I think her character is speaking for itself.

I can't figure the judges out and I am tired of trying.  Have you figured their system of judging???

You can tell that Casanova was liked, as a person at least.  Project Runway gave him a nice little send off.  I liked his little montage at the end but man oh man Ivy's light should have been turned off.
