Are you pissed? I am pissed! I'm not surprised but still I am pissed!
GRETCHEN JONES should have gone home! I don't give a shit that there was no TEAM LEADER! C'mon MISS HEIDI KLUM we all know that Gretchen hi-jacked that team and therefore IT WAS HER WHO sent that collection down the runway. The judges thought the collection SUCKED! Therefore, the SELF PROFESSED team leader should have been CANNED! Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and Heidi Klum just kept Gretchen Jones around because deep down they like her designs and they wanted her on the show longer! They clearly felt that AJ was a weaker designer so they sent him home. Honestly, why not Ivy? I mean, Ivy sent down an entire outfit and they hated it!
Anyways, it was a joke and I applaud Tim Gunn for doing what the Judges would not do. Tim came into that ROOM and blasted Team Luxe and RIPPED GRETCHEN JONES. Gretchen looked punched in the stomach. It was priceless!
Now, the winning team!!! Team Military/Lace or better known as Team Misfits! I was thrilled!!! Totally thrilled! They got it! They understood. You don't lose your VOICE on PROJECT RUNWAY. There is a way to be true to yourself and MAKE IT WORK. The MISFITS figured it out!!! I know that Casanova and Peach have been struggling and I was sooooo glad to see both get accolades!! Especially, Casanova. It is hard when you start to doubt yourself! What was even better TEAM LUXE was soooo full of themselves and so cocky and rude to the other six designers and when the MISFITS won, it was PRICELESS!!! Just PRICELESS!!! I think TEAM LUXE could have died when CASANOVA won the challenge. He was so gracious and he even stated to his team that it WAS a TEAM win!!
Alright onto the Fun!!! Funny lines! Off the cuff remarks! Team Interaction and so on!!!
Out of the gate picking teams we start with April! Man oh man, that girl Nails it on the head! She says, "Michael C. Is such a dumb ass for choosing Gretchen, do you want to hire Hitler?"
Teams break out to begin work. You have the supposed super team Team Luxe a.k.a losing team now (LOL) and the Team Military/Lace a.k.a The Misfits and THE WINNING Team!!
The Misfits sit down calmly and the first thing said by Michael Drummond "let's respect each other and listen to each other."
Now, The Misfits had their moments while working together. I think poor Peach's age is showing. She seemed to have serious trouble keeping up! But, The Misfits listened to each other, collaborated and really worked together while not squelching the designer in each other. Peach just can't handle all 'the noise' at once. Probably a personality trait more than age!
Team Luxe goes running like madmen and Ivy and Gretchen yell at Michael C. from the start about bringing in the tripod and claiming they don't need it. Did you all notice that they used it?!?! They just don't respect Michael C.
Team Luxe claims it was a collaboration??? In what universe? Michael C. was shot down the second he opened his mouth. AJ gave no opinion. Andy South sat there and waited for instructions. Gretchen was the leader and she allowed input from Christopher and Ivy!!
Ivy states in her interview that she is worried about Michael C. and he has immunity. This sets the tone for team Luxe!
Oh, by the way I think Ivy is Mussolini! Anyone agree???
Off to Mood!
Gretchen at Mood drove me insane, calling for Michael C. like she was looking for her child, I was sticking my finger down my throat during that scene!
Gretchen and Christopher talking about AJ, rude!! AJ was having trouble because he wasn't designing he was trying to do GRETCHEN'S design!
Did any of you notice how much Gretchen and Christopher stood around AND TALKED? Did you notice that Gretchen was busy talking, making lists and watching everyone else, instead of working??? And, yet the bitch is still on PROJECT RUNWAY. Told you I was pissed!
Did any of you notice how much IVY bitched about Michael C? I'm telling you she is next in line behind Gretchen! The girl gets on my last nerve.
Oh I loved this one by Michael Drummond, "They have a design called the Grandpa Sweater, What the FU*%?"
Ivy on the Runway, "It is like your pregnant and you gave birth and someone told you your baby is ugly." Did you see Michael Kors facial expression? He thought she was really exaggerating their critique. Ivy can't take criticism.
Obviously the worst person on the Runway was Gretchen Jones. She went from loving the collection to throwing EVERYONE under the bus. Oh and at what point did they know they had problems?? Gretchen stated at all times their collection was the best! It was cohesive. We heard it over and over again! Even after she was informed they lost she sat in the back and stated how they created a FIRST ON PROJECT RUNWAY! Then,they go back on their word and trash Michael C. I knew they would! Did you notice that his design was fine??? Georgina Chapman liked it and told Michael C both quietly and with eye contact she liked it as Gretchen Jones just kept rattling on and on how she had to help him so much and others that her own designing fell short. Why did they KEEP HER???? I must give AJ credit for saying , "hey, I should have stood my ground and stayed true to me." But I guess that got his ass sent home, poor AJ!
Gretchen stood up there knowing she should go home because she steamrolled all those designers!! A leader goes home when you lose but by golly she was going to say and do anything to STAY!
I must admit I am super duper pissed at Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and Heidi Klum. Guest Judges don't have much klout and poor Georgina Chapman, what could she do? She did say that you could not see any designer in the losing team BUT they should have sent the LEADER home! They all gave up showing themselves not just AJ. I am not sure how they justified sending him home???
The Final Ending.
After Tim Gunn handles what the Judges refused to take care of with the Gretchen Jones issue, Ivy says, " I think we all had an ah ha moment" I hope so. Although, Gretchen Jones did not have such a moment. We saw her interview and she was still whining her ass off. Does it surprise you?? The girl has no modesty. Gretchen needed to say, "Wow, I should listen to Tim Gunn and back off some." AND, she should realize that she just dodged a bullet!!!
Gretchen Jones is clueless and I wonder how she feels watching the show?!?! I can only imagine the excuses she is rattling off!!!
