Jersey Shore! The Second Episode!! The Hangover!
Let's start with the title of this episode, "The Hangover" Seriously? I mean, "Producers, I think you could just start adding numbers after each episode from here on out, correct?" I think we all have a pretty good clue about what these young adults do. They drink 'lightly' during the day and then they drink themselves into drunken stupors into the the evening. Now, this episode we do see them get a job, at the ice cream parlor, I think?? I got a little confused because they all were getting the 'scoop' pun intended on the ice cream parlor and then we get a speech from Pauly about the fact that his hair is not moving. I do believe that Pauly is quite proud of the fact that is hair is not moving. I actually think Pauly believes his crunchy hair is cool and sexy. Pauly, Pauly, Pauly a girl likes to run her hair through a guys thick full head of hair. What Pauly doesn't get is when a girl runs her hands through his hair it helps to rev up her engine, if you know what I mean. Then, again, I don't think any of the guys are worried about the girls being satisfied. Probably another reason they are ending up with, what is the term they use, GRENADES. "Gentleman, (and I use that word loosely,) the HOT girls, they want what they want and they don't deal with guys that are into themselves!!"
Okay, so this episode is all about the day after Ronnie was slobbering around the night before with any girl he could get his hands on but then he ended up in bed with Sammi. Now, that sentence was hard to write. Ronnie what a cad, or prick you pick which word you like better!! We are led to believe that he just slept in the bed, um yeah. No way. Sammi later acts like the jealous girlfriend. She goes through Ronnie's phone and rips him for calling his old girlfriend. Sammi, that is soooo wrong. Ronnie and Sammi have their little squabble and then he tells her that she should thank the old girlfriend because she actually told Ronnie to give Sammi a second chance. Sammi seems to buy the shit Ronnie is feeding her even though she admits in her interview her mind is a mess. So, all seems to be good with Sammi and Ronnie and they go off together. Sammi stands by her man while he gets a bad ass tattoo because Ronnie has the need to be in pain, wtf???
In the meantime, Ronnie has been dishing with the guys about how much he should confess to Sammi about his wild night. They all agree he should just say he was dancing with a lot of girls and do not mention any kissing but he better be cool with Angelina because she has the dirt on him and God only knows how she will use it. Something tells me she is going to eventually use it. The Situation is busting to tell JWOWW and JWOWW is dying to know so she pumps and pumps until she gets the goods on Ronnie. God Bless Vinny, he tried to have Ronnie's back but there was no shutting up The Situation and I noticed Angelina watching it all go down, quietly.
This episodes drama came more from the ladies, once again using another word loosely. Anyways, we get such entertainment from Snookie. Snookie decides it is time to go after Angelina because JWOWW informs Snookie that Angelina was talking shit about Snookie's boyfriend, and that is a big no-no. Oh,mygosh these sentences get harder and harder to write. Anyways, obviously, You can talk shit about Snookie but you can't talk shit about Snookie's girls, boyfriends or family those are off limits. Alrighty then, this propels Snookie to go flying out to the patio to 'attack' Angelina. What does Angelina do??? Deny, Deny, Deny!! JWOWW offers up proof and she still Denys. The guys are waiting for a girl brawl. They start getting comfy and seeing if anyone wants pretzels! The Situation informs us he got smacked by JWOWW and Angelina better watch out because she will lose in a fight with JWOWW!! I'm thinking, I just want to go in and knock some sense into all of them but really they are so far gone it would be a waste of time. I have to admit I want to watch a girl brawl too but I want Snookie in it with her pink fluffy slippers and here is the sad thing, I want those damn slippers and I know I could easily beat the shit out of Snookie and get her slippers. Okay, so where were we, oh the girls threatening each other, yeah, they just threatened no action but I have a sneaking feeling it is just a matter of time.
So, the fighting ends and of course they must get ready to go out for the evening. We get to giggle at the naked girl getting in the shower. "Snookie, honey have another drink." We get to hear about wearing the before you go out shirt and how you don't put your going out shirt until right before you leave. Such important information these guys are passing on (LOL)!! Then, Out they go!!! And as usual there is massive amount of drinking and then we get watch some dancing, falling and kissing. Of course, with too much drinking Angelina let's Pauly know she loves him, I'm thinking she means she likes him and omygosh it freaks him out. The Situation is trying to get her calm down and realize her SITUATION. They barely like her, they are being tolerable with her and she shouldn't screw that up. "Um, SITUATION she is DRUNK, there is no reasoning with her." It does not end well for Angelina and she basically loses the only two friends she had in the house.
Now, what are some of the 'off the wall moments'?? Snookie!! That girl should not be let loose. Honestly, it infuriates me to know that the girl was given a High School diploma.
Snookie spends almost $400.00 on 'sunglasses' that are worthless. She can't see out of them. They are really just a piece of jewelry! Oh, Snookie. Then, she makes a statement like this, "I can't see out of them so I can't wear them when I am driving. I would probably get a ticket." Um, here is another thought, "You might get in a fucking accident and kill someone or yourself" Oh and what is her deal with pickles? Someone buy the girl a shitload of pickles. I am sick of hearing her beg for pickles! Okay, the chicken falling out of the fridge. I will cut her some slack. She was not there when The Situation said don't open the fridge but when something falls out of the fridge and you have mess everywhere you don't RUN OUT OF THE ROOM!!! I loved Vinny trying to tell her how to clean up the mess. Plus, I must be missing something because Snookie keeps saying just hire a maid, take it to the dry cleaners and stuff. Is Snookie wealthy??? I just didn't think she was, I know there are stupid wealthy people but even stupid wealthy people tend to have a better vocabulary than Snookie's. Okay, I did get a giggle out of her answering the phone and telling Angelina's friend that she died, it was a little mean but I can understand why they were getting sick of all the phone calls. Now, this leads me to the phone! What is the deal with the house phone?? Is that a MTV thing?? My children never touch the land line phone they live on their cellphones. We know the Jersey crew has their cellphones because Sammi went through Ronnie's so what is the deal with that land line phone?? Also, the other side of Angelina on it all the time, she has no flippin friends in that house. What is the girl suppose to do, not talk to anyone at all??
Not sure if I can keep watching these young adults but I have to admit I am curious to see if MTV is going to show them working, god I would love to see Snookie at a job. I guess I will be tuning back in!!! (LOL)
