I never Liked Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey!
Teresa Giudice one of the Housewives of the New Jersey franchise became a fan favorite after season 1. She seemed to hold onto her fan base in the beginning of Season 2 even with the rumors
of personal and/or business bankruptcy looming along with stories of her home going into foreclosure. Many people tend to be understanding of others in financial trouble and don't like to be to harsh when a person finds their life hitting hard times.
I will state up front that I did not like Teresa Giudice long before the rumors/stories surfaced. I will admit when these stories surfaced I felt it brought many things into the 'light'!
I will explain what I use to help me assess a person. It is the 'little things' about a person. I use these things in 'real' life and while watching Reality Television too.
Season 1
Teresa Giudice in Season 1 wanted to portray herself has the happy, wealthy, sexy, suburban housewife. She tried to keep a balance between 'having money' and being the 'stay at home mom' that caters to her family.
In Season 1 we see Teresa catering to her girls and Joe, exactly how?
Shopping constantly and dressing your children cute does not make you a great mother. In interviews with the other Housewives all they discuss is how Teresa is always dressing the girls, taking the girls shopping and even putting lip gloss on little girls. They seem to think this is all funny.
We see Teresa visit Joe and in front of her daughters she plays the 'Sexy Secretary' game and he lusts after her. Now, I believe it is fine for children to see affection between loving parents but I do not believe children should watch parents play their sex games. YUCK!
We also witnessed a family dinner in which Teresa discusses her boobies and enlarging them in front of her children and the waiter I believe is asked to participate in the debate. Not exactly the sit down home cooked family dinner you think you will be experiencing with the Giudice's that Teresa insinuates she has often.
In Season 1 Teresa was definitely being the Stage Mom. My goodness it was definitely a season of promoting the oldest daughter. I know many parents want their children to succeed at sports and entertainment and Teresa is no different. She was behaving like any other parent but what I found funny was fans had no problem with Teresa and all the makeup on her daughter. Gia, was, not even 10 years old (which if you ask me no 10 year old should wear makeup) and she paints that little girl up like a young, um, well, let us just say she was too young for all that makeup! The modeling agency tried to tell Teresa and she still had to add makeup in the second shoot!
Now, Teresa and buying with cash. Oh, that is a dead giveaway that something is up. My son loves to watch the Real Housewives and he couldn't believe the cash! I explained that when buying in large amounts like that and then using cash there is a reason. I said that waaaaay before any stories came out. It is the first sign that someone is not reporting all their money. First sign! And, I don't like people who HIDE their money! Period.
I was offended by Teresa's comment of not living in a 'used' home. It was not funny. It was snotty. Her $5,000,000.00 home is gaudy, over the top and ridiculous. Oh, it is TERESA!!!
Now, onto the Danielle Staub Vendetta. Oh, my where to begin. I am not defending Danielle but there are contradictions with the ladies. Let us stick with Teresa! Once again, 'the little things'.
In Season 1, I did not appreciate Teresa informing viewers that Danielle was giving a daily blow job. Listen, I honestly would not to do that to my worst enemy. Why? Because, Danielle has daughters of age that watch the show. I am sick to death of Teresa claiming she is a NICE PERSON. Mother to Mother, how mean!! You may go on a Reality Show but I guess ONE would hope that your cast mates had some common courtesy. Teresa, was announcing something a MALE was bragging about. Teresa did not know IT for sure. I lost a lot of respect for Teresa. What I find funny is that Teresa seems to think she can dish it but then she hollers when it is dished back. Really, did she think Danielle would sit back and let all her remarks go?? Heck no, Danielle was going to point out all of Teresa's bad parenting skills from then on out! Why? Because, Teresa is playing the Perfect mother and wife role!!! I cook, I clean, I take care of my children and I take very good care, wink, wink, of my husband. (GROSS)
Really, I am tired of hearing about Juicy Joe!
Onto the the fight about Joe and his inappropriate language. The man is a pig!!! Juicy Joe at the Dance Studio was mean. Period. Actually, I found the entire scene ridiculous. Dance studios take dancing serious. They want people there that want to learn how to dance. All the joking, playing and even Caroline sitting there bored was RUDE!!! I found Danielle to be polite, in this instance. Then, Juicy Joe called the instructor GAYLORD!! This is a put down, no if and or but's. And after all of their behavior it was the final straw!! But, Teresa walking out was so upset that her Juicy Joe was called out that she proclaimed war on Danielle, you know, nice Teresa!
Now, the big table flip. Oh, that is the most UN CLASSY thing I have ever witnessed. Teresa should be humiliated. But, before the flipping of the table I found another 'little thing' about Teresa at the dinner that got under my skin. Teresa's story about Joe wanting to have sex with her all the time now that she has her bigger boobs was disgusting, not funny. To make matters worse the story would not end and she had to inform everyone he wanted to 'do her' the moment she got out of the hospital. GROSS. Did you notice poor Albie Manzo?? His face turned red! In addition, the children were all in the room for this lovely conversation and many were right at the table. I am sure they were thrilled to hear about Teresa and Juicy Joe's sex life!! In addition, I do not think this is appropriate dinner table conversation, let alone when 'children' are at the table. I know some are considered adults are close to adult age but they look at Teresa as family, like an aunt and they don't want to hear about her sex life! So, this leads me to the big display of removing the children when Danielle wanted to discuss her book??? The book the MANZO'S dug up and had no regard for Danielle's children? I don't like people who have double standards. That bugs me more than anything else in the world.
The table flip was icing on the cake. Teresa flipped that table for one reason only. She was over Danielle treating her like the idiot she is!
Season 2!
Poor Teresa. Oh, and I guess that has a double meaning. With all the press it is kind of sad to watch Season 2.
Once again it is the little things!
Teresa is no different than the rest of us!! Plugging away trying to make it in this world. And, she takes shortcuts just like all of us!
Canning the tomatoes, who was the teenager helping?? A sitter! No teenager wants to can tomatoes! That is called HELP!! Maybe not a live in but who hires help when doing household chores with parents and your husband around???
I love the FROZEN WAFFLE for the daughter. Yep, I would have given my kid cereal with milk, but still Teresa has to stop with I cook everything, blah, blah, blah. Oh, and Juicy Joe still asleep at 9:00am. My husband never, ever sleeps until 9:00am. Once we had our first kid and he has been our main bread winner and if he sleeps until 7:00am he considers himself lucky! In addition, he sleeps about 4 to 5 hours a night! Juicy Joe is lazy!
I did not find it funny that Teresa was an hour late to the hospital. I found it RUDE. Teresa has this attitude that "others will wait on her". I don't like people like that. When you have an appointment and staff & people are waiting on you then show up. RUDE and INCONSIDERATE.
Teresa acting like she was too good for the apartment really bothered me. Listen, I am always grateful to have a roof over my head and people do what they have to and live where they can, I don't like a snob! I don't like a snob that has no reason to be snobby as we are finding out!!
Teresa started the fight at the country club. Danielle walked past her without even acknowledging her. Kim G dragged Danielle back. Teresa was not nice during the conversation at all. She was dripping with venom. Once again, Teresa flipped when Danielle stated the truth. In addition, Teresa should have known when she through the 5 million dollar house statement at Danielle she was asking for trouble. Once again, it is the little things that get me. I would never shout at anyone the value of my home.
I would never chase a person down once they embarrassed me but that all being said what got to me even more was Teresa's blatant disrespect toward the police. If you watch the episode again it does make you wonder why Teresa was so afraid of handing over her name and information. Who treats a police officer just doing his job with such disrespect??? A Witch with a capital B does!!!
I could hardly watch Teresa tell her side to Juicy Joe and Caroline. Needless to say I was over the "I was just trying to be nice, you know me" statements. Um, WE KNOW YOU!!
Of course, the stories and the court records add to her drama and lend credence to the fact that Teresa does hide stuff. Teresa has serious issues with the public. She loves Twitter when all is good. She blocks anyone who says ONE BAD THING. I find her blogs on Bravotv inappropriate and the F&*$ Haters was the last one I read. It upset me so much I could no longer read her. People who have bought her cooking book are becoming irritated because they say she claims in the book she cooks mostly from scratch and yet on television they are not seeing this?? I don't know, I would never buy her book!
These are just a few reasons why I have never liked Teresa Giudice. Many of her fans have stayed steadfast by her side. Some are beginning to waver. I don't like using the phrase "Haters" but I guess one would call this a "Hater" post and some would say she has "Haters". I prefer to say, I do not care for Teresa. However, she makes good entertainment and Teresa needs to realize that not being liked can work to her advantage only if she learns the art of ignoring her 'haters', don't block people and focus on your steadfast fans. You never know when a fan might soften up and change their mind but once you block them forget it and they certainly are not going to promote you or buy your book. Think Teresa, Think!!! Oh, that is something she lacks in.
Unfortunately, Teresa is not a thinker and way too much of a quick reactor!!
